    Solid laptop with trackpad issues

    The laptop is great when it works. Unfortunately the trackpad's been giving me issues the past month or so which has made it difficult to use. I've tried reinstalling windows 11 with the lenovo-provided recovery media and that hasn't done anything to fix it. I can circumvent the trackpad issue by using an external mouse but I'd much rather use the trackpad if possible.

    Nice build and if you are looking for laptop for everyday task this is for you. Not enough ram for my needs unfortunately.

    Battery life is not the best

    It's nice but the batter life doesn't last as long as advertised. It's also a lot heavier than anticipated.

      Hi, NadiaK. Thank you for choosing Lenovo! Regarding battery life – there are lots of variables that contribute to shortening battery life. Thankfully, many of those variables can be adjusted. By default, the system will tend to give more speed when needed, which can sacrifice battery life. If you want to squeeze out more battery life, we recommend users utilize the Lenovo Vantage application that is preinstalled to adjust settings related to power and battery performance. Users can also take advantage of the keyboard shortcut, Fn + Q to toggle thermal modes and easily switch between prioritizing battery life or power, or even the best of both words. Other than that, we are glad to hear that using your Yoga has been nice, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us. Lenovo

    The mouse buttons and the pad buttons will cease to function not long after you boot it up. I returned one because of this issue and the one they replaced it with does the same. I can install updates and connect my accounts, then I can only input through the touchscreen.

    Beautiful, fast and sturdy laptop. Unfortunately, I've had the laptop for 2 months with minimal use and I am already having fan issues. Somewhat regretting switching over from my Macbook Pro.

      Hey RafaelD, we're sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your Yoga. Since we don't know the scope of the problems you're experiencing, to help resolve this issue, for now, we recommend following these troubleshooting steps: 1. Perform a static discharge/power cycle. To do so, first remove all cables connected to the device (power adapter, HDMI, external mouse, external keyboard, etc.). 2. Be sure device is powered off, then. press and hold the power button down for 60 seconds. When done, re-attach all cables and insert the power adapter, letting the laptop charge for a couple minutes, then power up the machine as usual. 3. Try to update the drivers on the Lenovo Support site: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/. Type the machine serial number (S/N) on the search bar. Hit enter to search the details regarding that unit. Click on the Drivers and Software tab, head to the Manual Update tab. Filter the Operating System drop-down to Windows 11 and proceed to downloading / updating the drivers. Restart your laptop when updates are done. If your issue persists after these steps, we then recommend contacting Lenovo Support directly at this number: 855-253-6686, to work with a representative for more in-depth troubleshooting.     issue after 2 month of ownership (shutting down/)

    after 2 month, the devices started shutting off and showing we run into an issue and need to restart. could not return because devices was a gift for someone in a foreign country.

    After a few weeks the left click button on the touchpad started sticking. It happens at every operation, maybe after three minutes or after 30 minutes, it always happens. Later in the day or the next day the touchpad will function normally, until it fails again. I took laptop to Geek Squad where the tech observed the malfunction. Although the laptop is just weeks old and under warranty, the Geek Squad offered no assistance other than to give me the manufacturer's phone number. As a very loyal Best Buy customer, I am so disappointed in Best Buy's customer service.

    I had this laptop less than 6 weeks before discovering that the camera was dead...out of the 15 day return period ...only available option was to ship it for repair...could take up to 4 weeks (YIKES!!!) I asked if they would make an exception to their crummy (toooo short) return window and was told politely NO...this my second screwed up Lenovo laptop....purchased and returned one 2 years ago with fresh out of the box dead USB ports...Lenovo was absolutely no help whatsoever zero zip nada....Geek folks very understanding but their hands are tied by Best Buy's horrible return/support policies..thanks for nothing..won't be back ..and this is my last ever Lenovo product
