I ordered this 2 LP pressing of the incredible "...And Justice For All". This pressing is just horrible. Flat sounding and actually had a fair amount of surface noise. I returned it and ordered the delux 4 LP 45rpm version, and THAT is amazing. I highly recommend that. $70 is a little steep, but if you're and audiophile, it's the only way to go for this one.

This is an easy review to write. I have been a metallica fan for years now and And Justice is one of my favorite albums by them. The probelm with this release is that the pressing of this Vinyl absoultly sucks. The surface noise is horrible, the bass is flat and the overall production value is down right bad. Do yourself a favor and don't waste the 25 bucks on this record like I did. I have a real hard time believing that MoFi was involved with this production...

Agree with another reviewer. This LP suffers from really BAD surface noise. I did not heed his warning, and now feel greatly disappointed I didn't. This review applies to the 2LPs version. The only good things about this LP offering is the large cover art, the inner group photo is in color (vs. B&W in the CD), and that's it. Definitely not for audiophiles.

and justice for all is sometimes considered metallica's forgotten album. This album does deliver some of the best Thrash songs such as the title track, harvestor of sorrow, blackened, dyers eve and the stone cold classic "one".
