I love Deftones, but I've never loved Chino's side projects. Until this album came out, that is. Crosses takes the eerie atmospherics of that Chino seems to lean towards and adds heavy beats and intriguing arrangements. Such a great, great album. Buy it, stat!

at first i was hesitant being a huge deftones fan and hearing about a side project, was afraid it wouldn't live up to chino's work in deftones but this album is amazing

Very good album from start to finish. Great layers textures and emotion. If you like far, team sleep or the deftones lighter stuff check it out.

You can't really go wrong with anything that Chino Moreno does. Not as heavy as the Deftonea, but still a great album.

I was skeptical about this side project for chino but he knocks it out of the park in a different way.

a good cd the music is similar to the Def Tones and it took a couple of listens for it grow on you but overall not a bad cd

Are you a fan of The Deftones? Maybe even Mogwai or Sigur Ros as well? This album is for you. A melodic animal, this album delivers a sound that is unique in every way. A calming heavy rock that taps into your soul relaxing every muscle but still making you feel like a lion. That's perfection.

Everything Chino Moreno touches turns to gold. This is an excellent debut album from an excellent band. Even though it is a super group/side project, the members work together perfectly as if this was their main band. I hope to hear more from these guys in the future.

Exciting to hear new material from Chino Moreno of Deftones and it is nice to see another collaboration with him and Shaun Lopez from Far. Completely unique sound from both of them which is nice and refreshing. Album definitely needs to be listened to.

I am a huge Deftones fan and have always enjoyed Chino Moreno's voice. I would say Crosses is a nice mix of the aggressive style of the Deftones and the laid back sound of Team Sleep. The lyrics are catchy and the beats make you bob your head.

I bought this because I had heard the free EP from their website... it is good. Got the sexiness of Deftones with a more electronic groove. There's some upbeat grooves throughout the record so its not total gloom. Any good old new waver would enjoy this record, and its definitely something to share with your partner.

Trying to explain to people that the band name is Crosses is one of the most annoying things in the world. Its Crosses. Spelled Crosses. You don't call Prince by the name of that symbol, do you? He's Prince.

Love this album! The electronic with heavy guitars comes together very well. Not extremely heavy as one my might expect from the Deftones frontman but his voice pulls it all together and connects well.

Absolutely love this album! Chino never fails to impress and it's not different with this album. Definitely looking forward to hearing more from these guys soon.
