I have loved Norah Jones for years. With ...Featuring Norah Jones you get what you expect: a nice, mellow CD. I think this would be perfect background music for a dinner party. Although there is a lot eclectic collaborations from different genres of music, the CD remains a bit sleepy. Although the point of this album is to highlight her career, I would have liked to see a few new songs and duets, it would make the CD a bit fresher. My favorites are "Take Off Your Cool" and "Dear John". Overall a good CD to purchase if you are a fan.

Quite Possibly The Best Collaboration CD - EVER!

I've been a Norah Jones fan from WAY back! She's got a raspy, soulful voice that is just so beautiful. She did a great job selecting individuals to sing with her on this album, although not all may be in her traditional 'style' per se. I think my favorite song may be her duet with Dolly Parton in fact! The songs, themselves, are famous in their own right, she just revamped them for a more modern audience! Great job!

Norah Jones is always very soothing to listen to and her new album ...Featuring, is no exception. She's teamed up with some great artists and their musical styles influence their song collaborations. It's a different sound like all Norah Jones' music, but this new CD hasn't let me down. If you like her other album's, give this one a try!

She has such a strong voice and this album is no exception. "Ruler of My Heart" with the Dirty Dozens band sounds like her usual style and I like the song a lot. I also liked "Life is Better" with Q-Tip, "Virgin Moon" with the Foo-Fighters, and the haunting song, "The Best Part" with her El Madmo band. There are some good songs on the cd, but overall, it feels a little bit too eclectic for me.

I really like this new Norah Jones album. Her music is so easy to listen to. I have twin babies at home right now, and I love listening to this album with them. Norah teamed up with some really incredible artists and it's interesting to experience the different styles of artists all on the same album.

I was given this album in advance to review and was very pleased with what I heard. I especially loved the duet that was done with Willie Nelson. Norah, as always has an enchanting voice no matter who she sings with. I highly recommend this CD for anyone who loves Norah Jones.

I was very excited to listen to Nora Jones’ new album “Featuring” when I got it. Although I think she is VERY talented, I had a little trouble getting through the album. I didn’t really connect with any of the songs & I had trouble finding one I could sing along with. Sadly…This album is not for me.
