I was out of town and realized I forgot my charger...ran over to the BB store and picked up a back up. It does its job - it charges just like the other charger. Would I recommend having a back up? Yes. Would I recommend this one? Since this is the ONE that fits the Alta HR I have - yes!

My spouse bought me an older, and now out-of-stock and discontinued Fitbit model when the last ones went on sale. All worked well until the charging cable was lost. Fortunately one can use the Best Buy app to find a store that still stocks a cable for the older Fitbit.

I don't know why, but when I went in to the store to get a new charger for my FitBit Alta, I accidentally grabbed one for the FitBit Alta HR, which does not work with the non-HR Alta. I didn't realize my mistake until I had opened up the box, pulled the charger out and noticed it was not compatible. Returning the opened item and exchanging it for the proper one was super easy, and it's Best Buy's great customer service that keeps me coming back. The overall rating is knocked one star not for anything Best Buy has done but for my dissatisfaction with FitBit for having to have different chargers for seemingly every model, even ones within the same grouping. This is my third FitBit, having upgraded from a Flex to a Charge to this Alta. Each one of them had its own unique charger that wouldn't work with any of the others. I've been an Apple user for many years now, and I can use the same charger for my iPhone and my iPad. Even when they did change the charger a few years ago, Apple made the change across the board for all products, and even provided an adapter for those with older headphones with RCA jacks, so those headphones could still be used with the new products. That is how you keep customers happy. Hopefully FitBit learns this lesson. Many products, one charger.

Went out if town and left the charger that came with my Fitbit at home. I ordered this one online and picked up the next day. Works just as well as the original.

Plugged this bad boy/girl into the wall, then into my Fitbit and wallah! I felt like Frankenstein. Bet some of you didn’t know that’s the scientist’s name. If you want juice give this item a try

My niece was visiting for a few days and forgot to bring her Fitbit charging cord. It was great to be able to go to our Best Buy and get this for her so she could continue her exercise regimen.

I couldn’t believe how fast this charger changed my Fitbit...lighting fast. My Fitbit was completely dead and it didn’t take long at all (last then an hour) to fully charge.

Have only used once at a 2nd house so far, but works great. It was hard to tell from pictures of product that it had the “clamps” for FitBit but it is just like original unit.

I had misplaced my fitbit Alta HR charger and was thrilled that I could go to my closest Best Buy and get another one! Saved me the time and hassle of shipping!

Original charging cable for Fitbit broke. This was the replacement I purchased. Needless to say it was essential for the functioning of my Fitbit. Works great!

This charger works great for a Fitbit Alta HR. Make sure you buy the right cable! The Alta charge cable will not work with an Alta HR device!

Needed an additional charger to keep in my car (never know when you may need to charge). Works perfectly! Now I don't have to worry about a dead Fitbit.

Fits well and well manufactured. Not much more to say, its just a charging cable and I need to make the minimum characters required for this review.

Always good to have a spare charge cable around for travel or work. Would be cool if they came in colors, but can’t go wrong with basic black.

The charger works just fine, I needed an extra to keep at the office to ensure that my battery never ran out and the pick up process was quick and easy!

Easy plug in and works like the original charger. We purchased this as a secondary (travel) charger for my Fitbit and it works just like the original!
