James Bond finally makes his appearance on 4K with a splash in the Daniel Craig collection! As far as the transfers go, the colors and the visuals POP on all four of Daniel Craig's films but most especially on his first film Casino Royale. A highly recommended upgrade to the previous blu-ray releases.

We knew there was one more Bond film to come with Craig, but people like me bought this anyway when the price was too good to pass up. Definitely go for the newer set with all 5 films now that it's out.

This is an excellent box set of the Daniel Craig 007 collection on 4K Blu-ray. The video quality is superb and the audio is top-notch, but could have been even better with Dolby ATMOS. The studio settled for the old DTS audio, which still is amazing, but an upgrade would have been nice. I'm happy with this set and hope MGM / Fox continues to release the other James Bond films on 4K Blu-ray.... hopefully with new scans from the original camera negative and upgraded audio.

I’ve been a big Bond fan my whole life and I was very excited to hear about Craig getting the 4K upgrade. I love all these movies, but Skyfall alone is worth the price of admission. If you’re a Bond fan, have 4K capability, and can find this on sale I would highly recommend.

Getting these in 4K is a must for an a/v nerd like me. Looks amazing in 4K and the sound mix is awesome. I wished they were remastered in Dolby Atmos or DTS X, but any decent receiver will upconvert it to Atmos-like sound.

All 4 James bond movies in 4K, you can't go wrong. Daniel Craig is the best bond yet. The HDR is great and the colors look fantastic; these films transferred to 4K quite nicely. Can't wait for No time to Die!

Bond's movies were usually independent feel with very little relation aside from minor characters (like M or Q or Mrs Moneypenny .
Since Craig the movies had been far more related in terms of story too and the franchise has taken a different direction; first of all recreating the character, first as a cold blood assassin (Casino Royale) becoming a more human person (Quantum of Solace) and fighting his own demons (SKYFALL and SPECTRE).
The previous movies were less realistic and contain more humor. This part of the tries to keep realism and drama.
Even if I miss the misogynist humor of the originals; is still quite entertaining and spectacular. The 4K disk allows to see almost as good as in theaters.

Some of bond's all time best moments in action and story telling are contained in this collection of films. My personal favorites are Casino Royale and Skyfall in this collection

Been waiting for this series to release in 4K. Would have been nice if they had a placeholder slot for next year's "No Time to Die" release so that it can all be in one package.

If you are a Craig James Bond fan you will not miss this collection at all. The best picture quality is still the royal casino for both Full HD and 4K! Good job sony!

Such a great set. 4 bond movies with Daniel Craig for a low price. Video and audio are great on each of them and are improvements over the standard Blu Rays.

From a price stand point this (plus purchase of No Time to Die 4K separately) is the best way to collect the Daniel Craig Bond Saga. With the current listing of the soon to be released 5 Film Craig 4K saga being priced at $99 is pretty much self explanatory. The cinematography of all 4 films in 4K are gorgeous and a definite upgrade vs their blu ray counterparts. Although the sound is only mixed at DTS 5.1 it was still immersive (especially while wearing headphones). The weakness of this set is mostly from an overall story telling standpoint. The initial plan of making a serialized James Bond story arc was inconsistent and totally botched between all 4 films.
Instead of furthering the development on a new Quantum organization with a mysterious super villain of Mr White (who raised the stakes of conflict to a highly personal level). It was decided to retcon everything to simply regurgitate back to the old cliche Bond nemesis organization of SPECTRE with Blofeld as the "architect of all of Bond's pain"...LOL.
So instead of continuing down the new path on Bond's human and emotional progression as to what drives him and his evolution as a character from film to film, we end up with Austin Powers "Dr Evil" (.ie EON Production's style). SPECTRE is an absolute train wreck when compared to the promise of Casino Royale with the only redeeming factor is that it forced Daniel Craig to make another (solely due to personal pride of not wanting to end his portrayal of Bond on such a sour note)
However Daniel Craig's acting chops and portrayal of Bond is one of the best ever. His interaction with Judy Dench's M and Eva Green's Vesper was both refreshing and amazing to see on screen. Obviously both Casio Royal and Skyfall are the gems of this collection while Quantum had various great set pieces and high potential but unfortunately missed many opportunities to become a great movie.

This set is well worth it. It's a reminder of how well done these more recent Bond films are and it's completely worth the extra price for 4k quality.

This is worth upgrading from your Blu-rays, if only for Skyfall. HDR makes the dark scenes look incredible and it's a great showcase for a good 4K TV

Overall, I did not notice much difference between the blu ray and the 4k for Casino Royale and QOS. I only noticed minor differences in color grading. There is a noticeable uptick in Skyfall and Spectre but I would not say that either are reference quality.
