Dalton’s record in the role, however, is undeniably impressive. Though he only made two films, The Living Daylights (1987) and License to Kill (1989), both of them are excellent films. Dalton took the role in a completely different direction than Roger Moore had done. Moore emphasized light comedy and played Bond as something of a dandy. Dalton, by contrast, showed us a burned-out, tough-as-nails, bitter and cynical Cold Warrior who seemed to hate his job but was utterly unsuited to do anything else.

They kinda tried to do with Dalton what they ended up doing with Daniel Craig, that is a more serious Bond. I guess the timing wasn't quite right or something. I should note I'm not a Bond fan, but I like these movies, especially License to Kill, and the Craig ones. But this is a good affordable set for your casual fan.

This is an excellent way to buy Bond movies. They packaged the Dalton movie together, so you don't have to search for them. We've watched one and quality is very good. The package we bought is not blu-ray, so I assume the quality of a blu-ray would be better. The movies are good Bond movies and very watchable.

To me Timothy Dalton was not like previous Bonds, he is more like Daniel but he smiles more and less intense and seems to be enjoying himself as Bond where as Craig is like this is my job and this is what I do. But nerveless, he portrays Bond very well.

As I am a James Bond fan ever since Sean Connery I purchased these to complete my collection. Great action flick. In my opinion he started the newer versions of James Bond. Moore serious than the older versions especially Roger Moore.

Yes, the stunt work/fight sequences and effects are still hokey, but Timothy Dalton was my favorite Bond actor before Daniel Craig, and up 'til Craig, the closest to what Bond was supposed to be like. Well worth picking up.

I love how they have come up with the boxed Bond sets for each actor that played James Bond. This was the final one I needed to complete my collection and was cheaper than anywhere else I saw it being sold as well

The excitement of the Living Daylights jumps out on this Blu ray disc. I always liked Timothy Dalton as James Bond. Robert Davi is also outstanding as the villain Sanchez in License to Kill.

Had been looking for James Bond movies for quite a while and made this purchase for a Christmas gift. The price was right. Cannot beat classic James Bond Blue Ray for less than fifteen dollars. Both of the Timothy Dalton films were included. If you already have some Bond Films and don't want to double up by purchasing the whole collection then the mini-collections are a good way to go.

Although this set isn't the ultimate dvd collection but is the best option if you like a certain actor playing James Bond. Also note that this collection is not in the order in which the movies came out its in the order of which movie that actor played James Bond in. Great for fans of 007.

It's a shame Dalton quit after only two movies and we then had to suffer with Pierce Brosnan. Both movies are top notch. Blue Ray quality is as always excellent. Special features are good. Cannot beat the price.

This is a great collection for big fans of James Bond.

007 is elusive and stylish. Dalton works both but he is not as his other namesakes. He is ethereal and sharp witted, and a 007 for the other minded. Enjoy the difference .

Merely upgrading previous movies into new format which I'll eventually enjoy even more at my leisure later on.

I purchased all of the 007 movies on BR for my pops for fathers day. Zero regrets ever for this purchase.
