I liked the story. I used to watch the original version when I was younger. I'm glad it was not a remake, but rather a continuation of the original series. What I like about it is that they did a good job of introducing each cyborg to the audience. The graphics are pretty good, and I also liked how my version came with a booklet that tells you the key sequences on the story and how they compared to the original. What I did not like is that a couple of the cyborgs did not have a lot of screen time. It would not have hurt to have it run longer just for this very reason.

Not too bad considering the art syle is a strange mix of CGI and 2D animation. The nostalgia value is cool but if you never watched the show you will be completely lost with the characters. The plot was over complicated to the point where you have to go to the booklet included that tells you the different plot points and explains them. Overall wasn't bad and it did make you think. Would watch it again if bored.

In the deepest depths of my mind I remember this anime being on Toonami, and yet even though I can so clearly remember myself watching it, and enjoying it I can not seem to remember any actual episodes. Saw this at bestbuy and decided that I needed to have it.

When I originally watched the Cyborg 009 series on TV, I was certain I would never see it reborn. This movie did a great job with updating the graphics from the original TV series.

I enjoyed the original. This one had some really neet surprises. It was a little hard to follow at times but if your a fan of the old show its worth watching.

My boyfriend wanted this, but decided to wait. I took the opportunity n bought it for him. We watched it together and I really enjoyed it!

My collection of DVDs and Blu-Rays is large. I enjoy anime in English. This was one of the few the store had I have not already seen. I was uncertain what to expect when I bought this movie. All I will say was it was a good choice. If I describe it, I will give spoilers. If you are considering to buy it, I suggest you do.

this is a great movie I had watched it online first before I bought it this movie takes place 30 years after the cold war all the cyborgs have gone their own ways but they are brought back together when bombings start happening and the bombers answer to something called his voice

Exciting, I really enjoyed it. A good development of characters and great action.

Never knew about this series until I saw this movie. Good flick in the Anime genre.

Animation and action is amazing. The story is lacking ALOT. Needs more development of characters and some flow to the story. 009 out running a Nuke is pretty awesome.

Use to watch the tv show and when in found out that they made a movie I had to buy it. It was a great film.

I have been a 009 fan since childhood, and I did not realize this is a re-make by another director. I thought this is based on unpublished storyline from the original creator who has dies a few years ago. But apparently the only thing overlap with the old franchise is the name 009. I feel cheated from my expectation when I bought this movie. It's an okay movie in its own rights but a disappointment as compared to the original 009 series.

I love how it follows up years after the original series hope the do a new series soon.

In the future, people aren't what they seem. Some are cyborgs. This movie will have you caught quick. Check it out.
