Production plan is dumb paid $175 for this phone $59 for the protection plan and they tell you you have to wait 3 days to get another replacement phone of the same phone that's messing up so the protection plan really covers nothing..

Never used protection lost out on all my money. Made a huge purchase in 2015 and never received my points and very upset about it. I still have my receipt. Never received an email about my points.
I would be wondering where those points are as well, Mars. I'm so sorry to hear that purchase didn't post. You might be able to add it manually, though. Instructions for that can be found here: https://goo.gl/DQCJYA . Usually, purchases are valid for this process for about two years, so it may be worth a shot!

i always ensure that i get the 1-Year Accidental Geek Squad Protection since the individual(s) i purchase a phone for always seems to do something to it before the 6 month mark. This gives me the peace of mind that when they do "destroy" the phone that i can get it replaced without having to pay full purchase price for that replacement.
I highly recommend getting this protection when someone tells me they are looking a getting a new cell phone.

I have dropped two cell phones over the last two years. The problem is they are pretty slippery. I guess I should make sure I always buy a case.
Anyway the geek squad protection fee is cheaper than a new screen. I

The extra protection is worth every cent it cost. I've used it twice when something has happened to my phone, got wet and cracked screen, and they have replaced it with no questions asked.

I think the insurance make sense. I washed the first model of this phone and wish I had bought it. I am using model 2 now and purchased the insurance.

I went to the Best Buy store to place a claim for a broken phone. They did a bunch of paper work, then told us to expect a new phone to be delivered and a box would be sent for the old phone to be sent back. A week later nothing happened. I called and they said they didn't have a record of the paperwork. I went to the store again, 45 minute drive one way. They told me I could do it online or by phone, the manager told me this. He said it would be quicker. I called the number and was told it could only be done in the store. Now I have a case number, and will call the store in the morning, and talk to the manager and see what happens. I paid $99 for a protection plan in which the agents have no idea how to replace this phone. I think for the two trips,90 miles round trip and the aggravation they should waive the deductible!

Purchased Geek Squad service agreement for LG Nexus phone. After having the glass over the lens break, I've been trying to file a claim. They (BB) can't find my account; when I try to call, it says that I should go online. Once there, if I try to start a chat session, it tells me that isn't the way to do it but to call... OMG, just trying to get my phone fixed. This is just to start the process but way too hard.
