    The plan itself is fine. When we used it they were fast & professional and it was repaired/replaced quickly. Would have liked to know when I purchased the plan that the tablet would need to be sent out instead of being fixed in house. Sometimes you can't go without so sending it out was an issue.

    I get your protection plans on everything I buy. And, I know Covid-19 shut a lot of things down; however, I had tried for more than 2 months to get the HD Fire 10.1" I bought for my grandson looked at. The Best Buy rep gave me the wrong item # to simply buy a new one, it was the code for an 8"... I have yet to hear back from the Geek Squad. The school closings have wreaked havoc on my grandson's ability to have some sort of normalcy during this time of traumatic events-- tree fell on his home in October 2019, he and I were in 2 separate hit-&-run auto accidents October & November, then he and his mother was in an auto accident (thank God the driver at fault stayed on the scene), the greatest heartbreak of all was suddenly losing his Father on January 17, 2020 and just before Covid-19 crisis we found out he may be autistic... immediately set-up counseling services, but it all has come to a screeching halt...home repairs, timely auto repairs, recovering from his father, no connection with other kids and the one main toy going out yet again. Please help me get the right tablet shipped asap...

    it cost me 120 + tax and 40 for geek squad 1 year that really is not so good because well it already comes with a 1 year manufacturer, 40 is steep considering 1 year and so much for that- should be like 3 year, so Best Buy... I always get a fair deal w/bb geek but I had 1 weird 1 where my phone had a problem and (long time ago) i had a 2 year i went there and they told me it wasn't through geek squad but through boast even though they pointed out to me that it indeed say geek on the receipt. All the memories of that one or vague but I was let down. And just the same way on a vinyl player at wal-mart the same way. Those two times were terrible but I doubt that will happen to you. I recommend though unlike me take your proof and call the upper powers because they do listen though. i give them a 4 stars for this product price. But geek squad is usually always 5

    Table works fine kid friendly but it’s not something you can drop and it’s okay. Tablet is cracked and had to call to flirt a appointment and got in quickly

    Always gleefully glad to have this (always buy with each laptop/tablet purchase). HOWEVER, I purchased 3-year plan for my *prior* Surface Pro 7, had it for 2 days & cracked the screen. This plan meant I got brand new replacement. BUT had to buy yet another 3-yr plan (and another $280) for the new replacement. So I wound up paying for TWO of these plans or $560 within a few days! Would loved to have carried the old plan over to cover new replacement.

    Every device I have purchased from Best Buy (Galaxy Tab 3, Galaxy Tab 4, Galaxy Tab S, Galaxy Tab S2) I automatically request and pay for Geek Squad protection. So far my devices have remained in pristine condition without having to use the insurance protection, but this is great to have. It's almost like Murphy's Law with electronics and no insurance - whatever can go wrong, will go wrong. Not only do my devices receive this insurance upon purchase, but I pay every year to maintain the protection and service. Last time I didn't renew my Geek Squad, within 2 weeks after it expired, my tablet started to malfunction and I found myself paying for a new tablet when I couldn't have it fixed (costed me more to fix so I purchased a new tablet). Lesson learned!

    Its a little expensive but its good to know if you have a problem there somewhere to get help. It would be nice if you didn't have to repurchase it once its used to replace the tablet. It would be nice if you could get it at half off if you have to replace it.

    Its always a good idea to get the protection, try to think about how youre using the product and the environment it will be in. For my mose costly electronice i always have them plugged into a ups that has automatic voltage regulation. I would like to see a better assessment of coverage options. Most just go by cost of the product, but if they really stood by quality of the items being brought in , that would provide a better scheme for coverage options.

    The Geek Squad staff in person and on the phone have always been efficient, curteous and of great help when needed in the past and I have no doubt they will do the same if needed on this new item I purchased. The only issue I have is with the manner of how they are managed in the store. In the Boynton Beach store there's always chaos at the Geek counter. There's no line for people with appointments nor a line for those without appointmens who just have a quick question. There's no way to check in if you do have an appointment thus you have to wait on a long line which is ludicrous and makes the appointment concept mote.

    The plan is good but it only replaces the tablet 1 time within 2 yrs. If it breaks the first time they will replace with a new tablet but you will have to buy another Protection Warranty. Only a 1 time free replacement
