I will always buy a geek squad warranty for my electronics. If I happen to drop and break or spill liquids on it I am covered. Never know when a part will break.

It was a gift for my mom and it fits in her tablet.

They do not replace the device. They only give you a store credit for the price you paid at the time of purchase. I'm not sure why they claim that things are covered when in all actuality the price of purchase and the price today are different so my son will be leaving with no tablet today because we are only getting a gift card for the price we paid for the tablet when we purchased it which is different than the price in store today. That is a very very very falsely advertised product and it's extremely frustrating
