I really loved the movie, the cast is great, the acting brilliant, the story is original, so its all there. This film actually has all the makings of a great science fiction film. And the ending has a real payoff too, that's worth waiting for. This movie is not to be missed, especially if you love good science fiction. Do yourself a favor you'll love it, 100% certified.

This didn’t meet my expectations, as it didn’t continue the storyline from the first Cloverfield but started something else off instead. I think it could have just taken off where the first ended but it went in a different direction. It wasn’t bad but wasn’t my favorite Cloverfield either.

This is a film with so many twists and turns that it left me guessing what would happen next all the way to the ending. I highly recommend for people to go out and watch this film. Even if you missed this specific steelbook edition (which is a great looking steelbook as it gives vertigo vibes) just go out and watch this film. Highly, highly recommend it.

First off I love this movie. Like a lot of people said, very Hitchcock-ian. Plenty of suspense that keeps you guessing. The Steelbook itself is decent but nothing to write home about. Looks like the Project PopArt Steelbooks BBUY released awhile back, which were sold for much lower prices. I am relatively satisfied.

This release of "10 Cloverfield Lane" got a decent Steelbook treatment, one of which, surprising seems like effort was placed in to the design of the Steelbook itself. Unlike most "lazier" Steelbook releases, this Steelbook did not use the typical poster art for the film, and instead decided to use their 3 distinctive character posters to add a visual flair that is otherwise absent from the standard BluRay release. The film itself is very well directed- however predictable and clichéd. While I appreciate the franchise runners allowing new creative and inventive SciFi ideas fly under the banner of an established name- the film itself is drastically underwhelming, and seems to compromise itself in the last 15 minutes of the film. The film itself was okay- but if you're going to get it regardless of quality- I would recommend the Steelbook.

This movie plays with your head and delivers unexpected results. I liked the original "Cloverfield" Movie, but this movie is totally different except for a clever tie-in to the original movie. Small cast but the acting is excellent . Mary Elizabeth Winstead shows her acting chops here, with a wide range of emotions. You won't be disappointed by this movie.

In this sort-of follow-up to the 2008 found-footage thriller Cloverfield, the threat of gigantic creatures rampaging through Manhattan is replaced by a queasy, close-quarters showdown between a scared young woman and the burly, intimidating man who claims to have rescued her from an unseen apocalyptic event.

I still prefer the first film since it became a staple of my teen years, but 10 Cloverfield Lane was a surprisingly strong sequel that served as a worthy branch out into this extended universe full of endless possibilities. The next one, however, we'll never speak of again...

Effectively creepy followup if not weak link to "Cloverfield". John Goodman plays an unhinged survivalist who keeps you guessing after rescuing an injured woman from a car accident, played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead. Telling more would ruin some of the surprises but it was worth it. A bit claustrophobic.

A movie I know I want to see I try and find out as little as possible about. Mostly what is on the trailer as in this movie. I was glad about it for this movie. It gave me some socks and surprises I would not have enjoyed as much if I knew everything. A lot of times less is better for a better entertainment value and this is one such movie

I love movies that are not just full of horror but also very suspenseful. This was the perfect amount of suspense. In today's world there are lots of weird people with sick twisted minds. This movie is one that you never know how twisted a person can be when given the right circumstances. I love it and will watch it many more times.

I had my doubts before I bought the movie. I didn't watch it in theaters so I decided to pick it up on bluray because of the great reviews. I loved the first Cloverfield but this one seemed to have no connections to the original. Anyways, after watching it, I didn't care wether it is a sequal or not. It was just a great standalone movie!!! 5 stars!

Came into this movie blind and wanted to see it for myself to see if it was good or not. This movie starts with unknown scenes and gives a lot of questions. exposition is fairly slow but it builds tension between the characters and from there it escalates and doesn't drop off until the movie finishes. Movie had a great and satisfying ending.

Even though it doesn't have a real connection with the first "Cloverfield", I still find it to be really good. John Goodman gives one of the most creepy performance that I have seen from him. The ending makes you feel let down, but if there is a 3rd one, then I would be very interested in it.

To describe in 1 word... Nerve Wracking! The movie has a good way of building anticipation and delivering. The performances are worth watching and have a way of pulling into the story. There are many moments that keep you wondering and waiting for the next creepy and satisfying moment. The ending is not expected and continues to surprise.

I was a little disappointed that the movie didn't have more "alien" content but that being said I really enjoyed the movie. The tension was great and Goodman was excellent as he usually is. Hopefully if they make another movie off of the Cloverfield theme they add more of the "alien" story line.

10 Cloverfield Lane is a masterful suspense thriller, with an incredible performance from John Goodman and edge of your seat excitement. One part Hitchcock, one part H.G. Wells, this film is filmmaking at it's finest, and stands out from the countless reboots sequels and adaptations flooding the market place each year. Highly recommended.

This suspense , mystery tale puts Mary Elizabeth Winstead and John Goodman into a " I don't know if I believe you " situation. It's a good tale and tense within a small area . Don't want to spoil , so I'll leave it at that. Surprise ending will be worth getting this movie. It blew me away.

Movie itself was fantastic. The Cloverfield franchise feels like a cinematic Twilight Zone series. John Goodman and Mary Elizabeth Winstead give great performances with Goodman's definitely award worthy. Great story, great characters, great suspense...it's definitely one of the years best!

This film is incredibly intense and has some fantastic performances. John Goodman was particularly great, and gives one of the best performances of his career. The only thing holding this film back from true greatness is the ending scenes, which were clearly shoved in in order to connect to a franchise when it doesn't need to.
