My husband is the only coffee drinker in the family. We have tried several different brands of maker and this one tops them all! He likes the thermal pot and that it is so easy to pour without spilling coffee. It is simple to fill and clean and makes hot coffee quickly. I like that it looks great on the counter and is so easy to use. It gets 5 stars from me!!!

Some of the reviews I've read suggested that the spout on the coffee pot causes the pouring to leak--I don't understand that problem--Pouring from this pot is much easier than the Black and Decker I just replaced. I prefer a coffee maker with a thermal pot because I don't always use the whole pot--and the thermal pot keeps the coffee hot for a few hours but then the coffee can be quickly zapped in your cup/mug if you want it hotter. Even day old coffee is still tasty. For those who said the brewed coffee was all over the counter--I suggest you make sure the basket is in the right position. I've never had a problem--I've been using it for two months now I never realized Frigidaire made a coffee maker--but I'm very happy to have found it

I am very happy with this coffee maker. Good price for excellent quality. Brews a nice strong cup of coffee and keeps it warm for a good period of time. It's attractive and fits in nicely in the kitchen.

After my search for a coffeemaker, I finally found one that I think is great. This coffeemaker is simple to use and makes a very tasty cup of Joe. Keeps the pot hot in the thermal carafe. But I had to figure out that you press the handle down to pour the coffee. Very happy with this purchase.

If you want a thermal pot, then this is a good machine. Unfortunately, the coffee isn't as hot as it could be when it's first made and then there's no heating element under the pot to keep it hot for a while. This is what the thermal pot is supposed to accomplish instead, and it's okay. However, I don't think it's a hot as it could be. The design is solid and nice, except for the pouring design of the pot makes it hard to get all the coffee (or water when you're cleaning it) out.

Here is why I rate it only one star: -The spout is a terrible design - you would think they'd have many years and tries to develop a good, non- spilling spout. -You can not pour out till the last drop, unless you unscrew the top, and then it spills everywhere but in your cup. -Coffee stays warm two hours at max and even then you have to reheat in microwave. -The buttons are flimsy. It does make decent coffee, as long as you drink it right away, and it looks nice; however I did not buy it for looks. At $100.00 it is highly over-priced and I would certainly not recommend it to friend or foe! I've had a $25 college coffeemaker that was better than this thing.

The hot plate turns off as soon as it stops brewing; therefore, the coffee will not be "HOT" as indicated in the description, it will stay warm in the thermal carafe but as soon as I added milk it got cold. Least to say, I am returning this coffee maker. The whole point of me getting it was to get HOT coffee not warm.
