I bought these as a gift for my younger relatives. It allows them to buy games/etc. on their 3DS or Wii U consoles.

The AR cards are a nice touch and there are a lot of eShop exclusive games worth checking out on the Wii U and 3DS.

This is great for me because much easier to buy a game and do have to worry about the grandsons scratching the disc.

I get these from time to time when I get rewards certs and accumulate when I buy many so I can buy games on my WiiU.

It's a good idea, but the nintendo eshop is rather pricey for digital content. Many times you can find the actual game for cheaper.
