  • Amazing B&W Picture in 4K

    It’s films like this that make me believe B&W films show the benefits of 4K than color films do. The HDR and wider color gamut really enhances the various shades of gray in the picture, making every frame appear to have more depth and detail than ever before. Especially compared to the previous Blu-ray by Criterion, this transfer is a vast improvement in image fidelity. The film itself feels as brilliant and timeless as ever, one of the all time greats that anyone should try to watch.

    A friend showed this to our group, all guys in our early 20s and none of us (beside the friend) had seen it before. When Henry Fonda took out the knife, we flipped out more than we ever did for Avengers Endgame. Not only you should you watch this film but buy it in its best presentation yet!

    Been wanting to watch this for a long time and didnt disappoint. 4k transfer is fantastic and the the movie itself is very good

    Toss the criterion blu ray and get this. Far superior 4K picture quality and more bonus features.

    I have loved this movie for decades. And to see it restored, will be a major highlight. This movie has passion and action and a story that should be seen by everyone.
