Very hard to watch this movie. There were some scenes that I had to fast forward. I know I shouldn't but it's just too much to watch.

I loved the movie. I went to see it in the the theatre. The story is great because it teaches you to persevere and to never give up hope.

Great acting. It shows another side of slavery. Not only for those who were born into it, but for free people black and white as well.

Good story about a free man who was kidnapped and sold into slavery and is fighting for his freedom again. It is a long film and I do feel some scenes were a bit long and nothing was happening and they should've been cut but other than that it was a great film.
