    Django reopened the door to the format I'm sure the books great but if you wanna watch a slave movie watch color purple or roots..django unchained if you don't want something to serious

    I watched this movie and was kinda bored with it. The plot was good but I just don't think the acting was all that great in this movie. I think the movie is average at best.

    This production had a very limited plot unfortunately. A rare look at white European gender identities for a plot essentially verse being a rare glimpse of slave life.

    It was a good movie but it just didn't make me go WOW. Lupita definitely got my attention but she only had one notable scene which was not enough to garner an Oscar.

    Characters do not seem very deep and writing not very imaginative. Graphic cruelty attempts to carry the movie and that can only go so far.

    Good movie but expected more, i got it for 8 bucks since i had a $10 coupon from best buy so it was good for the price i guess

    Took a long time for the Blu-ray program to load so I was not sure if the disc was damaged or not.
