The movie is actually only about an hour and a half

So this movie is based on a book and a true story of a man who gets his arm stuck in a place where no one can be found this movie is a summary of his time stuck and his story of survival. James Franco does such an amazing job in this role he is just amazing and i cant talk up his performance enough!!!!! The movie can be boring at times but the thing is that the movie is about a guy who gets stuck, its a one man show and its harder for it to be as interesting. Really though a really decent film that i tautly suggest watching.

A decent James Franco movie based on real events. No real action but it is very suspenseful and compelling.

I saw this movie in theaters and loved it. I love when movies challenge us to look at ourselves, at our lives and determine who we are. This movie does so. When the character Aaron ends up being stuck between a rock in a canyon we watch as he struggles to try to break free from the builder and well as wrestle with his own life decisions that lead him to being right there and talking a true look at the kind of person that he is.

You will think twice about hiking alone. At least I did after watching this movie. It also made me think about what should really be important in life. Material things can give us instant satisfaction, but family and loved ones, the time we spend together is what really matters. So go out and watch this movie. But don't take my word for it.

Did you watch "Slumdog millionaire"? Well, this movie is from the same director, but wait... it is so much better. It's a very well done and interesting movie. James Franco does an excellent job. I highly recommend this movie.

This movie showcases some of James Franco's true acting chops as he takes on the true story of a man's fight for survival on his own after being trapped. A must see like every Danny Boyle movie

James Franco had me worried about the character, i watched Pacific RIm the other day and didnt care at all for the characters but in 127 Hours I cared for James Franco.....I LOVE YOU JAMES FRANCO!

James Franco does an amazing acting job as a mountaineer and adventurer trapped by a boulder for 5 days. His will to survive while examining his life will leave one astonished.

Good movie but it is a movie. There is no secret underground pool that so many have traveled to find.

At the beginning of the movie it makes you feel that it is too long for a simple story but once you get deeper into the story, it makes you feel a different way, no bad.

Very good performance by Franco. Interesting story that held my attention from start to finish.

Danny Boyle has so many masterpieces to his name that when he produces something merely "good" some get angry. I'm not one of those and consider "127 Hours" to be a fun, gorgeously shot film with a fine performance by Franco. It's not groundbreaking in any way and it ends the way you expect (obviously impossible to avoid with a true story), but it's worth a watch for the arm scene alone. You know which one. And, heck, for $4.99, it's a worthwhile addition to anyone's blu-ray shelf.

Director Danny Boyle never seems to disappoint. There is no exception with this movie, which is based on actual events. Heart-breaking and awe-inspiring.

You would never think a movie would be so interesting with there being just one actor for the most part. But the guy drinks his own urine how awesome is that.
