Not sure if I even received an authentic product or not because the item is very low quality. The rim of the cream color isn't even along the edge and the paint or enamel is on the inside rim of the cup also--probably wouldn't be safe to use especially with hot beverages due to the chemicals. It's also not leak-proof like the authentic mug. When turned upside down, liquid leaks out. I ordered the cream color and this definitely leans a pale yellow color.

DO NOT PURCHASE! This is a counterfeit item. The acrylic piece on the bottom is removable, which is not how an authentic SMEG mug would be. The paint job is done very poorly and already chipping at the top right out of the packaging. The lid closure is very loose and would definitely have leaks.

The reason for the low rating is they said it was for 12 oz mug, You are lucky to get 9 oz in this mug, very disappointing.

I bought this as a Christmas gift, but there was a damaged area on the outside, so I had to quickly prepare another gift.

It had a chip in it. Quality control should have seen this

This cup has the same lovely vibe as SMEG products. It’s a small size, but I really like its simple and clean design. It’s the perfect amount for a cozy drink on a cold day. The only downside is that the shipping was a bit slow.
