This laptop is essentially an updated version of my 83 year old mother's last laptop -- with double the RAM and a solid state hard drive which is ideal because my Dad has Alzheimer's disease and tends to bump and jar the machine from time to time reacting to lights and sounds. Was a great price for a machine that matched my mom's needs as a 83 year old very well for a good price.

Bought this as a home computer. My kids use it for school projects and other things. The touch screen capability is really nice. Doesnt seem to bog down, easy steup, and honestly the graphics seem to be quite good aswell. Great middle of the road unit! Does everything that we expected it to.

I got 2 of these for my kids. One is in College and one in High school. It was great for my highschooler, but too big for my college student. It has great features my son loved like the touch screen and basic use for gaming. He also did power points on it. I would recommend it for basic daily use. The price was good as well.

This laptop is everything that I am looking for. The speed and memory are far superior than I thought it would be. I was always hesitant to purchase an HP but I am glad that I took the leap. It was well worth the price and I couldn't be happier. An added bonus is that the touchscreen sometimes works better than using the mouse!

I bought this to replace my old HP 17” laptop. I didn’t want to sink a lot of money into another laptop though so I bought this 15” one hoping it wouldn’t be too much of a difference. I love it. The size difference is barely noticeable and I love the touch screen. This laptop meets all my needs and it was so affordable.

The laptop is the fastest i have ever used an i probably have purchased 30 over the years. the ssd drive appears to be the difference. its processor and ram are similar to other units but speed is several times faster, the only downside is the drive is too small. it filled up fast and i have to install a larger one in order to do regular work for my business

I needed a new computer but everything I found was a 2-in-1 with no disc drive for over $1000. I like 2-in-1s, but a disc drive is an important thing to me so I couldn't see spending that much on something that was missing such a vital part. I was told that manufacturers are straying away from disc drives now and that it was still an option but would be an additional accessory purchase. Then I found this one. It has the same storage capacity as all those fancy 2-in-1s, a touch screen, is almost as light as light as them, and still has the disc drive. I got everything I wanted for a fraction of what they're selling models with less for. I was able to buy this computer and an iPad for less than a 2-in-1 computer!

My old laptop, a Dell, was about 6 years old, and on its way out. I needed a new one for my editing / writing work, and my new HP is brilliant! Very fast, lightweight, sleek design, and I am enjoying the touch screen feature. It's perfect for my needs. This is my first HP, and I feel confident it will last a long time! The only minor hang up was that after all my data was transferred (music and word docs), there was barely any space left, so I had to get a new drive. Also, the reps at my local Best Buy, along with the Geek Squad were great in helping choose a new computer and transfer my data.

This laptop was purchased for my wife as she decided to go back to college. So far this laptop does everything that she needs at an exceptional speed. For the price, I was surprised that it came with a solid state hard drive. Great laptop at an affordable price.

This computer has been a great addition for the business. It's runs fast and keys feel comfortable with a great screen. We store everything in the cloud so size of hard drive is not an issue. Glad we got the solid state hard drive with this system.

I've had this laptop for a while now and I have no complaints. I used it for online usage, mixing multitrack music, etc. It's quiet, fast and very versatile with the touch screen. I would recommend this laptop to anyone.

I've had my share of laptops, and this has been my favorite yet. It hasn't slowed down, it doesn't run hot or get noisy, and has had no issues with hardware/firmware compatibility when running updates. The battery is still in good shape and I can reliably get a few hours work on it without power. It has a full keyboard with a great, satisfying clack of the keys. Touchscreen is a nice function, but not really necessary in my view. I do wish the Webcam was a bit better quality, but it gets the job done. I also wish I had opted for the larger hard drive, but that's more of a personal problem with hoarding files. The charger is a 3 prong, which can be annoying. Ive taken to carrying around one of those converter plugs in my laptop bag.

Purchased laptop for home use and minimal office support. Loved the setup prompts and reminders that help is available for many things on this laptop. Love the touchscreen and keyboard is easy to use. Was a great buy for the speed and processor.

I am 31 years old and returning to school to further my education by taking an online B.S. degree program and needed a good computer for that and day to day online activities. I do not game, but I do occasionally download music, or stream YouTube. This computer has been excellent so far, even with multiple tabs open of watching a video while following along in text. Battery life is great, very easy to operate and set up.

I llike the Speed and the touch screen. However I had a horrific scare when I first went on internet to look up a website Windows Microsoft took control of my computer and froze it up AND I could NOT do anything with it. Good thing I had Geek Squad to pull me out of it.

This solid state drive laptop is faster than I expected. The touch screen feature is especially great and easy to navigate. I would definitely get another one like this but hope it comes in a larger screen size.

I purchased these to be used for my employees. They work great. They are fast and the touch screen is a nice benefit. We are using them for medical records and the screen sign and appearance makes it easy to see everything

I normally use this laptop for research, writing papers, or creating documents for work. I've never encountered any problems with it, and I've had it for over a year now. The processor and memory make it really easy to have multiple programs open to get things done, and the SSD makes booting up super fast. It's good for streaming videos and music, too, if you're into that. Despite having Windows 10 on it, it's a pretty solid device. If I were to recommend a good laptop for work or school, it would be this one. For those interested in the touch screen feature, it works great. Makes navigation really quick, and if you ever forget your mouse and don't want to use the trackpad, the touchscreen is just as good.

I like the computer. It is fast etc. I like the touch screen. But I don't like windows l0. Windows 10 seems to be harder to use. I would rather go back to Windows 7. Other wise I am satisfied with the computer.
