This computer is great for someone who can’t afford the much pricier ones. It gets the job done but it’s kinda slow.

Don't update unless you check to see if there's a bug within the windows update. Otherwise it works fine

It’s an ok laptop. Felt a little pressured to buy it....now I know what to get next time.

I am not liking the scroll pad. It is too sensitive and I can not seem to adjust it right.

I'm not real happy with the HPLaptop I bought. It could be because I'm not used to it.

We brought computer home within an hour we determined keyboard didn't work. Which was why we were purchasing a new computer due to our previous purchase of HP the key board didn't work. Decided to return and purchase a different computer. Staff was very helpful.

The left hinge started giving me trouble after less than one year. The hinge broke after 15 months of limited use. I wrote to HP and did not get a reply. Looked on line and saw several similar problems discussed. Most did not get any satisfaction from HP. I plan to bring it in to BB to see if they can resolve. It still works but I can not close it for fear of it breaking the wires between the laptop keyboard and screen. This the most expensive laptop I have ever purchased with the idea an HP is superior to other laptops. The new version of this laptop has a totally different hinge design which suggest HP knew they had an inferior product.

It crashed on me after two weeks and all I used it for was emailing and Netflix.

Not the prettiest laptop in town by any means but it works just fine.

The guided setup for the laptop was very smooth. But, after I restarted the laptop and logged on the first, the screen went black and stayed black for a very, very long time. I thought it broke so I took it back and exchanged for new one. The second one is the same. But, this time I left the laptop alone long enough and actually got to the windows after 8 minutes. I disabled some startup app but that didn't help. I was able to use Ctrl Alt Delete buttons to open the Task Manager during the windows startup / log in process (when the screen was still dark). I saw that most of the time the speed of the CPU was only 1.5 GHz even though it says 2.5 GHz on the system info. The Task Manager showed that there was nothing much going on and the CPU usage was low, too. The startup time was 7 - 8 minutes. Unbelievable!

I do not recommend spending money on this laptop. I purchased it in July 2017 and in May 2019, it broke. The actual computer works, but the bottom corner of the lid constantly rubs against the bottom every time it is opened and closed. It put too much pressure on the hinge, and broke. I read that other people have this same problem. HP will not acknowledge it. I brought it to a YouBreakIFix place and they want $250 to fix it. It's not worth it but I will not buy an HP laptop again. I could have bought a $200 laptop for the purposes I bought it for.
