This is a series that I got mainly because Sam Elliot is in it. After watching I can recommend this as an excellent show on the western experience, the trials and tribulations that the characters have to go thru to achieve their goals.

I never saw this when it was on TV. I heard good things about it. I was hooked from the 1st episode. Great visuals, great story and great acting. I am a fan of the settler/Western genre and this series delivered for me.

Great series. It is great that this history is being brought into the mainstream. It shows the difficulty of immigration and the devastating impact on the Native Americans. Excellent script and cinematography!

Have watched Yellowstone Seasons and this DVD gave the background of what our early settlers & American Indians had experienced, the challenges they faced.

Excellent depiction of our ancestors’ history, trails and tribulations as they traveled west to stake out land and build a home and a life for their families.

received as a gift. had not had a chance to watch it yet, but i really like the yellowstone series so i'm sure i will enjoy this too.

This series is very realistic of the frontier life with trail wagons from a young womans point of view, very well written for the entire family.

Great story telling, showing some (all?) of the trials and tribulations of heading west. Highly recommended.

I just really loved this short prequel to Yellowstone. You really need to watch this before you watch Yellowstone.

Great show, well made blue ray dvd, and an important part of the collection along with Yellowstone.

So far so good almost done with the season pretty good definitely like the action the scenery, the plot so far
