Great story about 2 brave men and their journey to deliver a message that will save 1,600 of their fellow comrades in World War I. This movie is absolutely captivating. We highly recommend this 4K Ultra HD.

1917 is 3 years before the roaring 20’s, 13 years before crowing 30’s, 23 years before the darkening 40’s, 33 years before the fast 50’s, 43 years before the sobering 60s, and 47 years before I was born. Good movie too.

I thought that this was a great movie. We went to the theater to see it when it first came out. I wasn’t going to purchase it but I got a good deal on the movie using my Best Buy certificate.

This is, without a doubt, one of the best War movies out there. It is filmed as if it was a one shot scene, and the results are amazing. Looks fantastic on 4K, would recommend to anyone with a 4K TV.

Good movie, and beautiful in 4K. I just wasn't aware that it had the gimmick of trying to appear like it was shot all in one take. There actually were about a dozen cuts, but they were hidden digitally. It worked out well and didn't really affect the flow of the story, but just seemed unnecessary in my opinion. All in all it was an entertaining flick. Great score by Thomas Newman as well.

I have my Grandfathers WW I diary. After watching 1917 I can see why he wrote what he wrote. 2 armies fighting major battles to dain only a few yard. It was called the war to end all wars. Great film and worth the 3 Oscars that it won!

1917 in 4K was extraordinary! We were mesmerized watching the cinematography, and of course, the incredible story. The subject matter is sometimes not easy to watch, but to have created the sets and dressing for this movie incredible.

Fantastic movie. Watched it 4 times in theaters. The cinematography is absolutely stunning. The long followed shots seamlessly put together to feel like you are side by side with them for the whole journey. Stellar movie!

I recently purchased this movie and all I can say is wow. This movie keeps you on the edge of your seat from the start. The story is well thought out and moving. The picture quality and sound are stunning. I highly recommend this movie.

Awesome steelbook although its high gloss is a finger print magnet. I bought this blind, without seeing the movie, but having watched it I am happy with my purchase. The film is great and looks absolutely stunning in 4k.

An amazing work of cinematography and excellent film making at its finest. A couple of scences take a lot of artistic license but the conditions are very realistic. A great piece of work on an important part of history.

1917 is a phenomenal WW1 pic following two soldiers sent on a mission. You really feel like you are there following the soldiers through their journey. Excellent camera work, acting, directing, etc. Should have won best pic in 2019.

I am blown away by the way this movie plays in UHD 4k. The story, acting and cinematography is fantastic. Then combined that with 4k HDR and you have what is possibly the best movie available on 4K UHD right now.

Great film. Good transfer from the experience of seeing it in a theatre to in your home. The picture has great color and sharpness and the sound is exceptional (aided by my soundbar). A must-own for fans of the genre.

This is a terrific movie!! It keeps you involved every step of the way. It is not a feel good movie but does an excellent job of showing the horrors of war. Very thought provoking. Highly recommended but not for the faint of heart.

Amazing movie. The way it was filmed is cool, where it is as if a single camera is following the main character around the whole time. Movie is intense from beginning to end. One of the better war movies out there.

What an amazingly done film. The continuous scenes without a camera break are choreographed like an amazing dance. Cinematography is incomparable. The last film with this good filming was Das Boot (the boat)

If you like intense war movies, this movie is a must for you. Keeps you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. Be sure and watch the extra features as they give you important insight into the movie.

Excellent movie. First time I saw it was in theater. Now own the movie so I can watch again since the scenes look so realistic and portrays war very well. May buy again but this time in Ultra HD 4K.

I had wanted to see this movie at the theater, but didn't. Now I really wish I has seen it on the big screen. A more realistic war movie with emotions, not just blood and guts. Not glorifying or sanitizing war. Two thumbs up.
