The story and action are very good, but to me the extremely long takes (think Birdman or Children of Men) is the more fascinating and entertaining aspect.

I was a little skeptical about this movie, but wow did it exceed my expectations!! Great acting and heart from a great cast. Nice to see a war movie that doesn’t glorify war

This is a truly fantastic film. The steelbook is simple, but has a very nice gloss finish with embossed title. The only issue is it seems a lot of copies were scratched up.

This movie is incredible. I have no idea how they did the camera rigging to get half of these shots. Its a beautiful film with an amazing story. Highly recommend.

Great visuals and storyline keeping you hooked into the movie following a young soldier through a mission to get a message to a commander. A must see...war is hell

It's a good movie. Better than the other war movie that came out at the same time, Midway. There are no large battles like other World War movies. The characters are not fight a battle but trying to deliver a message. There are famous people in this movie but they are minor roles.

A masterpiece of a film. Mimicking the look of a one-take movie, this film does not disappoint and continues the action and tension from start to finish.

My personal favorite war movie of all time now. Cinematography is outstanding and has a great story. Great steelbook for any movie fan out there.

1917 is an extremely well done movie. Zeroing in on two men's experiences over a 2 day period on the front lines, makes the movie very personal. Highly recommended.

Excellent movie that gives a glimpse into the horror that was WWI trench warfare. The cinematography is exceptional and quite interesting as to how it was actually done.

I liked it. It looks like it was filmed with one camera in a continuous shot except a piece here and there. Pretty amazing! Colors are correctly muted to match the the movies theme and audio was excellent. It holds your attention start to finish.

Great movies, based on director/producer/writer's grandfathers experiences in WWI. Like Saving Private Ryan, best played with volume at 11.

Movie is pretty good. Visuals are pretty good. Story is pretty good. Sound is AMAZING!! The Dolby Atmos soundtrack is one of the best you can find. Hearing the bullets whizzing by you is spectacular. Feels like you are right there in the war.

Could have waited for the free SAG version to arrive but glad I spent the extra money for the 4K ultra version for the “SOUND” out of my new bd player!
