All I know is that my kids liked it and they play it everyday when they get home from school is the first thing they want to do listen to TS

Some songs are growing on me; it's a great cd for anyone going through a break-up or is missing an ex ;) Overall, the CD has about 4 songs I really like. The other songs probably swing more with the teen fans, but overall clean, fun chick CD.

Taylor's newest album is pretty on point. I've listen to all of the tracks multiple times and honestly can't say there isn't one I don't like.

Great CD from Taylor Swift, she continues to give her best to the fans. Recommend for all of the family. Can't beat Best Buy for buying CDs.

This was a Christmas present for my 7 and 9 year old daughters and they love every song on the CD.

I loved Taylor Swift as a country artist, and she doesn't disappoint as a pop artist! My favorite songs are "shake it off" and "blank space"

Absolutely LOVED the cd. I ended up giving it my 13 year old niece who is a HUGE Taylor Swift fan! She loved it just as much as I did!

Great CD - super catchy songs. Only downside is that it doesn't have the bonus songs that you get when you purchase from other retailers.

This album is great! Taylor has done it again in a big way. She has matured as an artist. This an album you can listen a hundred times!

This is what happens when an artist gets so popular, that they have to change genres in order to promote themselves further and make more money. There are positive and negatives to this change. Perhaps the only positive thing here is that it benefits the artist and their management. The negative aspects of doing so are risking alienating the original fanbase, in which it wouldn't surprise me if some have rejected this album because of that. If you are expecting any Country elements in Taylor's latest release, look elsewhere, because this album is now classified as a "Pop" album. Gone are the hint of fiddle and mandolin. Those instruments have since been replaced by cheesy synthesizers, hip hop beats, and R&B. I will say, however, that Swift intended this album to be a tribute of sorts to the 1980s era, an era in which she was born, but just barely, considering the fact that her birth year, and the title of this album, is 1989. On that note, the instrumentation, although lazily done at times, do a decent job of representing that time period. The lyrics, on the other hand, do not sound up to Swift's standards, and like any other generic pop song these days, sounds like it was thrown together quickly in order to make a quick buck. In other words, the lyrics in general sound very recycled and repetitive. I once heard somewhere before that Taylor was interested in making another Country album down the road. I hope she does, because this style of music, although popular, does not seem to be a good fit for her, and she should remember what genre got her to where she is today. With "1989" however, this only tells me that she went for the money. There's no denying, though, that this record is popular. But to have a bunch of fans go on iTunes and pay $1.29 for an "accidental" track that was released by Swift's label that only featured a few seconds of "white noise" otherwise known as static, and then have that "song" go to number one on iTunes, seems a bit overkill to me. Oh well. I guess she can't please everybody. Hopefully, she'll make a return to the Country Pop format again and that this whole experiment with the Pop genre will be over after this album.

I am seriously a Taylor Swift fan! I love all her music!! But this here album is the absolute best!! I also bought a copy for a friend!

By the time I purchased this, so many of the songs on the CD were already big hits. It's definitely my favorite of Taylor's CD's.

This is a great album to listen throughout the day. Great lyrics and lovely melodies. Outstanding album to have in a collection.

I'm not a huge Taylor Swift fan but I do like a couple of her recent songs and that is why I bought the cd. Actually, I should have just bought the songs I liked and not the whole cd. But if you are really into TS, it's a good cd.

I love love love this cd! I would recommend to anyone who likes Taylor a little or a lot. It's a great pop album from start to finish.

I am a hard rock guy so am not a typical taylor swift type of guy. I was surprised that I really enjoy listening to this album.

I love all the songs from this CD, there isn't just one that I don't know the lyrics to. I have to Blank Space is my favorite song.

I bought this CD for my niece, who is a huge taylor swift fan. Taylor has good songs and sends out a great message. Love Taylor

Her music is fast and fun. Makes you want to get up and dance. Worth every penny.
