This is just what I needed and I like that the usb ports are on the top. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Now I can plugin four products at the same time by using one outlet. It has two usb ports and two 3-pin outlets which are very handy

This "Insignia - 2-Outlet Surge Protector" upgrades my simple electric outlet to an USB charger and makes it easy to charge my cell phone and I-PAD right next to my bed while having plugs for lamp and computer ... YES, I work also in my bed surrounded by my gadgets which provide access to my social networking ... and YES, I do not care if it has 1 or 2 amp, because in the morning they are all fully charged anyway and the original charger stay in my travel back-back and get never forgotten any more.

I love the fact that I can connect my USB devices to charge as well as a 2 outlet surge suppressor.

Works as intended, I like the idea of having the outlets available and having surge protection for my iPad and iPhones. It is a little slow to charge the iPad but otherwise works great.

I wanted something that works well, compact and looks good. this fits the bill and I'm happy with the purchase.

This surge protector is simple and easy to use. Only downside is there is no switch that is flipped in the event of a power surge, similar to the long, strip surge protectors.

This unit just plugs right into a regular wall outlet so ther is no wiring involved. It nearly always has a USB plugged in from someone in my house.
