I have tried several of these bands, starting with the Jawbone Up24, through the Microsoft band, then on to the Fitbit HR, and this. I don't typically review, but after using this for a few months, I felt the need to share. THE GOODS: For me, the GPS was a really cool feature because I take a few fishing/camping/hunting trips throughout the year. We often pack-in to camp, or just hike in for day trips so I thought it would be a great feature for me. That is my favorite feature although I don't use it more than maybe 6 times a year. It also does kill the battery pretty quick. I GPS'd 30 miles of hiking in 2 days and my battery was pretty much dead. I see this as reasonable for the size of the device though... The quick select workout functions are awesome for the gym. I have my band customized to a few workouts I use often so I can quickly select what I'm doing (IE: weights, elliptical, run, stair-master, etc). The heart rate for the most seems to be on point. I have had a couple days where its seems to be reading funny, so I usually know it's time to clean the band, or I have it on too tight. The band charges really fast, I'm gonna say in a little over an hour I can have it charged off of my iphone brick connected to the provided cable. With regular use daily workouts, the battery usually lasts 5-7 days. The comfort of the band is pretty good. It's light weight so you don't really feel any irritation. I only take it off to swim or shower, but I'm not too worried about getting it wet. In fact, I rinse it off every couple days under water from the faucet, and haven't had any hangups yet...(fingers crossed). This thing can take a beating. I am an IT guy by day, but I do get my hands plenty dirty on the weekends. This thing has survived some heavy construction projects in my off-time, and aside from a few gouges in the band, the screen still seems to be scratch free, and hasn't malfunctioned. The BAD: This band is ginormous... Just like I'm sure all other reviewers will say, it does get hung up on coats, and long sleeve shirts. It can be seriously frustrating when you're in a hurry. The screen is exactly what it says it is...plane jane, black and white and unexciting. These aren't exactly going to kill it for me but you may want to know before buying. In-short, this band is great if you like to stay fit, go outdoors and be able to follow your achievements. All this power does come with the cost carrying a light-weight yet bulky computer on your wrist. In my opinion, it's totally worth it. If you don't care about GPS or selecting a workout type from the getgo, then check out the Charge HR. My wife has it, and loves it.

I bought the Geek Squad two year warranty just in case something happens to the watch. I always like to get these warranties on big purchases as it is an investment in purchase and you have peace of mind that you can get it fixed and/or replaced if something breaks instead of having to buy another one.

having a extended coverage has helped many times, including this one, in which the surge was causing a rash and i kept ignoring it switching wrists inorder to continue to use the device i wanted to, but when i couldnt stand it anymore, it was well outside the normal warranty, but with that protection i was able to exchange it for a device that truly fit my needs and didn't cause a rash and sores on my skin, yes fitbit is a great product and their customer service stands by it, well bestbuy won't be out done and when you have the coverage provided through their extended coverage it helps to resolve further issues that may or may not develop later on. so thank to bestbuy and fitbit for making life better.

Always great to get the insurance for the products that you buy never leave the store with out it. No matter what happens to the watch I can turn it back in and get a new one or they will fix the problem that is occurring with my watch. I am very happy with this insurance and would recommend getting this insurance.

Really like the Garmin Vivo watch. Am 95% satisfied with this purchase. Chose this watch over Apple mainly because this one is waterproof whereas Apple watch is not. Of course, the price is better! Only downfall with the Garmin is the display is not very bright while inside house. Outside lighting is perfect. Overall, I can leave with this. If I had to do over again, I would do the same and purchase Garmin!!

This helped me get a new Fitbit after he band was starting to wear and fade. Highly recommend this to anyone getting expensive electronic acceaories

This was worth the extra money on my fitbit. Mine broke a few months after I purchased it, literally no hassle to replace because I purchased the extra protection.

I was running a half, dropped the watch prior to my run and cracked the screen. The geek squad protection saved me from spending another 300 bucks.

I purchase my Fitbit Surge with this warranty. It protects it against accidents, water, smash etc.

Always get the warranty with my electronic purchases. I have had no issues with the warranty

my fitbit broke, and i was able to do a swap out straight up for a new i watch.

I buy these plans on every item I buy from Best Buy Let me tell you they work great!!

Haven't had to use it yet! The watch is durable so far. But it's on your wrist and could be at risk so why not.

Warranty worth having. ...I usually decline warranties, but I thought otherwise on this purchase

I had this watch for 6 weeks and the glass cracked and it was not hit. It was just a crack, but there was no impact mark on it. It does a good job, but I went with the Apple Watch instead.
