If you have time to the with manufacture companies and the one year warranties and you dont mind paying for the shipping when item is damage or you dont care about about you money dont get the extra warranty. In the other hand if you do value your time/money and your peace of mind GET GEEK SQUAD

It came with my Total Tech membership, how can I go wrong? Most things still work many years after 2, but if they don't BB makes it easy to swap out for a new one. :D Get a Total Tech membership and see what I mean.

This is a great service! I had a problem that would’ve been covered under the manufacture’s warranty, but I would’ve had to send it in... and wait... BUT Geek Squad replaced it on the spot and I was able to come home with a new one. Everyone in Geek Squad that I have dealt with has been amazing!!

Used this unit every day none stop! Excellent for the abused of everyday used. Strong motor. Downside be careful not to drop the large container so it won’t cracked. Mine did crack just on the first drop and I found that bad for a new unit. The true is not everything can be perfect.

I recommend getting this because the minute you don't and something goes wrong there is more red tape to go thru...with this protection plan you can return to the store for replacement and or fixing..without it you have to return to the actual company and pay for boxing it up and it comes out to more that you paid for the product

On the more costly purchases I make, I tend to buy the 2 year coverage just to make sure my money isn't completely wasted. In the age where planned obsolescence is... well... planned, I'd rather be safe than sorry. I've had to use the Geek Squad coverage before, and it was a breeze to get a return or replacement squared away.

Always get the Geek Squad Services and/or protection...you'll thank yourself later if anything happens. It certainly gives you piece of mind and you can get it with most products. I haven't had to use it with this product but I have with other products. I especially recommend it if there will be kids/teens using the product...I'm just saying.

I have bought Geek protect for so many years, and had to use it on few occasions and was simple and painless. From TVs to gaming headsets and laptops too. You just never know if you'll need it. How much time I get depends on the cost of the device. Like Mouse be a year a large TV 4-5 years

I love this about Best Buy because they just replace everything u buy from them with a new device. I don't know how many times I've broken things I've bought from Best Buy and i just get a brand new one everytime no questions asked. The peace of mind this gives me is worth every penny!

Normally I say no, but I'm grateful to Best Buy for suggesting this, while I didn't need to use it, I did purchase...months later I had a burst water pipe blast onto my new equipment, it held up, but had it not I would have been covered, and I know that if it does fail I am still covered.

This is insurance for the product that hopefully will never need to be used. I generally purchase an extended warranty on costlier technology, because lemons happen to even the best product. There's a lower price limit though where it's just easier to buy another.

We got the protection plan for my wife's Galaxy S10e screen protector, and it was the best thing ever. We have used it 3 times now. Best Buy makes it easy to come in get it replaced. If you are hard on your phones I would highly recommend getting the extra warranty protection plan.

Having tried several different cameras, I was nervous about spending $200 on one with various reviews. The service protection plan was affordable and worth adding to the cost. Piece of mind is a good thing. If it breaks, they fix or replace it at no charge. And if the current model has been updated, I'll get the newest one available.

The product replacement programme is a complete and total no brainer. You can bring your device back to the store within 2 years and have your money back in the form of store credit, most of the time no questions asked. unless something OBVIOUSLY fishy is going on, dont be silly

Never a place with a warranty service like Best Buy. Even circuit city in the day couldn’t keep up with the amount of damage one can inflict and still get a replacement. Ok. It is accidental protection. So when accidents happen Best Buy is here to help. And they have.

Make sure the expiration date of your geek squad protection is 2 years (or however long your geek squad protection you chose) AFTER the manufacturers coverage has expired. Some of these geek squad protection were expiring 2 years from date of purchase and that is wrong.

I don't get this on everything, but when I buy some electronics that run a lot or can't afford to be with out, I highly recommend it. It more than pays for it self when you need a question answered and their just a phone call away. Or bring it in to the store, great service their too. quick ,easy no hassle replacement if needed.

Used the product replacement warranty twice, walked in the store with the failed products and walked out with only the cost of the new warranties. Well worth the cost if there is any chance the product could become damaged or just stop working.
