    Geek Squad protection

    Best decision was to purchase Geek Squad protection on our chrome book, with our Child using it too. We have had to have it serviced twice. First the cord broke when our child drop the chrome book on the carpeted floor. Bought a new cord and it charged for a little while and then didn’t work. Geek Squad has to repair by replacing something internal. The the second problem, somehow our child shattered the screen. It is currently being fixed. This is all under the Geek Protection. Thankfully! And it has paid off.

    Hands down, Best Buy has the best protection plans

    I always purchase a protection plan on my devices, and since I buy my devices from Best Buy, I already know that they stand behind their protection and replacement plans. After owning my Netgear Router for several years, it decided to go out. Fortunately, I had the Geek Squad protection plan. I took it to Best Buy, and they took it back immediately, and replaced it immediately with another of its kind. I love this router. Most of all, Best Buy always stands behind their word.

    Syncing 3 computers, 2 printers, and wifi meshing

    Roger, my agent, came to our house and synced our 3 computers, 2 printers, and our wifi meshing system. He was very friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, efficient, patient with us, and educated us on the use of these items. He worked quickly and had everything running smoothly in about 1.5 hours. The cost of the service was very reasonable. In the end we wondered why we spent so much time without success and encountered so much stress when we should have had Roger come to work with these items in the beginning.

    Why Not Have Geek Squad Protection

    The Geek Squad Protection is definitely a Must Have when it comes to anything Electronic and Best Buy has always treated me fairly when it comes to returning items, very fast, very easy, and if perhaps the item is no longer available they have a few different options you can do whether replace it for a different item or upgrade what you already have. The Geek Squad Protection is the only way to go when it comes to protecting your Best Buy Purchases.

    Repeat Geek Squad plan customer for good reason

    I don’t purchase Geek Squad protection on everything I buy at Best Buy, but more often than not, I do. Some products simply fail and are expensive to repair or replace. Consider what bad can happen when you are about to by and then decide. I find more often than not, my products need that protection. It is peace of mind. What’s great is that you may lose your Geek Squad service receipt, but they have you tracked online. They can look it up and have, for me, many times.

    I never buy anything over $200 from Best Buy without also purchasing the geek squad warranty. It’s just not worth it to invest in some thing and not have the peace of mind to know that if you’re crazy son decides to throw a football at your router or vacuums up his bag of marbles, this geek squad warranty will cover everything. So glad that I got this because I have crazy kids... Who may or may not like to vacuum up marbles.

    I have peace of mine that if there is a problem with the unit that Bestbuy will be there for the life of the warranty. I highly recommend GSP with your heavily used or travel products. It has saved me thousands of dollars over the years with the combine products that I have purchased. You never know if the one product is a lemon or prematurely wears out. At least you know that you can replace it or exchange it.

    Great to have for electronics

    I bought this with my modem/ router I bought almost two years ago. I starting having issues six weeks before the modem warranty was up. I called Best Buy and they swapped it out two hours later. I got to the door service and didn’t even have to go in the store. I got the new replacement router and added the same warranty three months ago. When my daughters modem and router broke last month I bought the same router and warranty. It works!!

    Protection, plain and simple. Battery stops charging or the container breaks for some odd reason. There you go. Call the store and if theirs not one on hand, the guys will order you up another. I always buy the warranty for this very reason. Mine started to make a loud noise and I have my Geek Squad replacement information stored in the Best buy app and it was just as simple as an initial phone call. I had my replacement. Just a happy camper.

    We purchased a brand new Samsung flat screen from Best Buy. When it was mounted on our wall by a licensed electrician and then turned on, the rv was shown to be defective. We went back to Best Buy and had not purchased a protection plan. The managment helped us purchase a different rv and we deffinitly added this plan to our new rv we purchased. The way everything was handled we won’t purchase a rv anywhere else.

    Have purchased the 2 year replacements warranty on several items that I have purchased from best buy. I'm currently for the first time ever having to use the warranty. My sharp 58 4k went out and I started the warranty process with best buy. They outsource to an outside company to come and fix my tv. Process is going into the second week but I'm satisfied so far. No hassle and they fully honor the warranty.

    I've been a long time purchaser from Best Buy, and learned the value of purchasing a Geek Squad protection plan for most larger purchases, as it will save money and aggravation down the line should something not work with your product.

    Most experts do not recommend these types off coverage. After my wife's coffee pot died a few days after the manufacturer 1 year warranty, a very smart bestbuy sales rep suggested the coverage. The second time this occurred shortly after the 1 year warranty, I went to bestbuy.com to purchase a third coffee pot and remembered I had the coverage. It saved me $100 for a new coffee pot. I got brownie points with my wife. YES!

    Best Buy stands behind their product replacement program. I've used it before with mostly no hassle or issues. Highly recommend this option especially with products that have mechanical moving parts or products you travel with or carry with you. Also a must for high-tech non-basic appliance models and laptops that are going off to college. The best Product Replacement plan available.

    Replacement plans on some things are wasted money, but anytime I’ve had one with Best Buy & had to use it they make the situation easy & hassle free to handle the replacement. I received a $500 gift card as replacement for my camera security system I purchased over a year ago & now I can buy something of equal value but technologically almost 2 yrs better quality in replacing the same system.

    I have Not had to utilize the geek squad protection, however i am Excited about that. When making a electronic and expensive purchase it only made sense to pay a little more funds for its protection. Not only is it worth the protection of the product but of the investment of the purchase. The particular item purchased is virtually protecting by everything helping me feel rest assured that i will Always have a working unit.

    I got a product replacement warranty for my WiFi router because it was $200, well about a year and a half into having it, it stopped working. I literally just brought it with my receipt to Best Buy and they gave me 3 options, they could fix it, I could let the money go towards a new router, or I could receive my money back. They give you absolutely no hassle, I was in and out in less than 5 minutes.

    This mount does what i needed it to do and i wasn't sure because of the reviews, but in the end i asked the install guys the question and its all about who doing the install. this mount was installed with no problems and works great. the added space in rear allows for easy of access to the back of the tv for inputs. Geek squad did an excellent job installing and hanging my 75" tv.

    I always buy this with computers. I spend a lot of money on a computer and computers can quit working. NOT the fault of Best Buy. Things happen. Geek squad service plan isn't always something I need to use. But when I have used it the plan has saved me a lot of money on repairs. Best Buy does not manufacture their products and without this plan you need to rely on the good graces of the manufacturer's warranty service
