The geek squad has good coverage for the price on cell phones, however when I upgraded 2 years ago the sales girl told me it would automatically transfer to my new phone and I learned the hard way that is not true. Not happy about that since I did break my phone and had no coverage for a new one and I also paid for coverage for 2 years on a phone that I didn't have anymore.

Only worth it because of the device being necessary to daily activities. I don't believe there should be fees attached after u have purchased the warranty. If my phone breaks, true that they'll replace it but you still have to pay like $200

Price is MUCH better than Verizon. But when they shipped me the replacement phone the switch over was PAINFUL! It did not go smooth. A year ago I got a replacement and they used some App to swap over to the new phone (through Verizon) and it was MUCH easier and included everything including passwords, etc. I guess it goes back to “you get what you pay for!”

I had it on my Samsung Galaxy> I got way less allowance for the phone than I thought that I would or should. I would have had the cracked screen had the so call protective case had a better design. It leaves the face unprotected and over time it will crack and or break from putting in ones rear pant pocket from the car seat as it is just not that hefty.

Not to crazy about geek squad. I like to take care of the geek stuff myself. But have heard of many of people complaining afterwards and having to use to some i know to finish fixing or fix many issue they didnt take care of. Not worth the money or hassle.

Hopefully nothing happens to my phone and I don't have to use the accident protection, but I know they are not helpful over the phone. I waited hours and when I finally was connected to a representative they told me they don't work with the phone side only computer and to just call Verizon. Didn't even try to help.

what one hand does the other is unsure. Phone callin center says 139,99 for a warranty after taking phone ID . Store says 199 after typing those same key strokes . '' yeah we dont know where they get those phone guys from '' as my reps giggles the rational

Go the 2 Year Accidental Protection and not long after I purchased my device I dropped it. I went back to Best Buy only to get the run-a-round on what it actually covers. Not happy at all.

Review before having to file a claim - From what I read it can be difficult but hoping it is not. Hoping to get away from Asurion and having the option to drop it off at any Best Buy is appealing.

They could not fix my phone and I had the pay extra money to another company to fix my phone.

Didn't need to use the phone protection so not sure if it's easy or hard to get things done. But it's the better price of what's available on the market. I'm torn if I'd recommend to a friend (if there was a maybe box, I'd check that instead).

Good peace of mind for protection plan. However, the deductible of $150 exceeded the cost ($100) of the mall store to replace the oled.

I can not give a positive or negative review, as I have not had to use the service. My hope is that it is worth the cost.

I returned mine because by the time I pay for the plan plus deductible I could have just bought another phone or a screen. Don't get me wrong I have payed for plans before but not thus time.

I suspect it will be very useful if it is needed. So far, I have not needed it. My experience with their Geek Squad has been great with installations though.

I always purchase these and warranties wherever I go and I have never used them but I know the one time I don't spend that extra money on protection will be when ill actually need it.

Waiting money on Geek Squad. Would have to hang my Samsung 55 inch TV. Still contem plating on purchasing a 65 inch Samsung. I may need to go to Fry's electronics store

I see myself buying GEEK squad a bit and never using. This is a good thing, but makes it hard to rate. I only used on a mobile recently and that was not impressive.

I never used this so I'm not sure if it's any good. Seems like a good price. Definitely took good care of me when I used the plan on a vacuum cleaner.

The insurance through geek squad like any other insurance is only worth it when product is brand new up to 1 year.
