I like them but they have quirks
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like these headphones. They are very comfortable and have great sound. They are a smidge big on my head but the Bose quiet comforts were wayyyy too big. I think skull candy fits me better but I liked the comfort of these more. The “bass” feature isn’t that spectacular compared to skull candy either. The ANC is really great until it picks up a high pitch or loud noise it breaks through and makes the sound cut in and out. Probably the most annoying part. I bought protective sleeves for the headband and ears. The touch feature on the right ear to listen pause etc is amazing. They shut off when you take them off which I love. They’re easy to operate and I’m not tech savvy.

Definitely recommend
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely love these headphones. I especially like that if I can't hear someone all i need to do is either pause or pop my headphone out of my ear instead of completely removing it. The battery life is awesome and if one headphone dies in the middle of my shift at work I can just put the other one in. Definitely recommend these.

Great sound but expect more from the price
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great quality. But I expect more on the noise cancelling for this price point. Keep falling off my head. Sadly I returned mine. I really love the sound quality tho.

Actually Goated Headphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So ultimately I decided on 2 things: I needed new headphones because my old ones were damaged beyond repair and I was tired of having to hear conversations I didn’t wanna hear. So I searched for like 5 minutes looking for something good and I landed on the brand Sony. Now I don’t know if the PlayStation 5 counts but I never truly had any device that was Sony so I was like screw it I wanna give it a try. Now I’m not gonna lie I don’t approve of the shipping method via DoorDash because it truly sent a scare to me realizing they could’ve used something different like ups or something but it’s whatever. Now when it arrived, I will say the packaging was very nice and it came with a Case! Set-up was fairly easy and quick. I underestimated these headphones noise cancellation because originally I had doubts if it was even that good but omg these are actual noise cancellation headphones. I had swapped it from ambient mode and everything changed. Ever since that move I’ve had these headphones on everyday, and the battery life is actually really good as well. Went to sleep with these on the first night and no charge and surprisingly I was on 40% when it was on 80% when I first turned them on. I like the cushioning on them especially since regular wireless ear phones or wired headphones usually slip out my ear since I sweat a lot, but these babies don’t move at all. In my opinion there isn’t no real downside other than the small charger; which I feels tho all companies should make their chargers longer than what they provide. Overall I give the product 4 stars, pricing was meh especially since I never truly paid a lot for them but I caught them on sale so yeah.

Top-Notch Noise Cancellation and Rich Sound!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These Sony earbuds deliver an outstanding listening experience. The noise cancellation is one of the best I’ve ever tried—it creates a peaceful space even in crowded or noisy areas. The sound is rich, balanced, and detailed, whether you’re listening to music, podcasts, or making calls. They fit snugly and feel very lightweight, making them perfect for long use. Battery life is solid, and the quick charge feature is a lifesaver. Sony truly nailed it with this product!

A solid pair of headphones.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the best noise canceling headphones out in the market with decent transparency mode. The updated design over XM5 makes them easy to travel with. The 10 band EQ gives a lot of flexibility to adjust sound as you prefer. Ear cups are slightly on the shallower side. The clamping force is good, headband is wider to distribute pressure on top of the head. Updated power button makes it easier to find. 30 hour battery life is pretty good!

worth every penny
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The extra money is worth it. If I accidentally run them over, I take directly to Best Buy within the 2 year period and they either replace, exchange or refund your money. Im accident prone so is worth the 70.00 I paid for 2 additional years after the manufactures warranty.

Connectivity issues mar nearly perfect buds
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall these things are excellent. They sound great once you find your settings in the equalizer; the default equalizer was not great for the music I listen to. I saw some reviewers complain about the touch controls but in my experience it's one of the better headphone control systems I've used. The touch pad is responsive and predictable, and I don't have any complaints other than the lack of configurability. I wish Sony would let me just select which function I want for a given action per ear, rather than make me select some pre-set config options for each bud like some other manufacturers do. The ANC is really remarkable; I spend a lot of my time in a datacenter that can run upwards of 115dB, and these quiet it down to about as loud as an AC unit running in a different room. The memory foam eartips do a pretty good job of passive noise cancellation on their own, almost as good as a set of earplugs. Irregular sounds like voices, construction noises, silverware clattering, wind, etc, all just sort of disappear when ANC is enabled. The speak-to-chat feature makes voices feel much more natural than I expected, and it's easy to carry on a conversation without taking the buds out, at least in theory. In reality, people see the buds in and assume you can't hear them, so you can either take them out or explain how they work. Guess which one is easier. The fit was not the most comfortable at first, but within 3 days or so my ears quit complaining and now they're very comfortable. They're lighter in the ear than they feel in the hand, and it's easy to forget I'm even wearing them. The fit is secure enough that I don't feel like I need to compulsively push them back in "just in case". Battery life is as advertised, which is to say it's excellent. With every battery devouring feature enabled, they run about as long as a pair of AirPods Pro claim to run in their marketing literature. With LDAC and DSEE switched off these easily get you through a work day without having to charge them. I haven't tried the Adaptive Sound Control feature. I don't know who it is that is clamoring for their headphones to randomly switch ANC modes based on where they're at or what the AI thinks they're doing, but it isn't me. The only downside I've found so far (hopefully they're able to fix it in software) is occasionally the left bud is unreliable; sometimes it will stop responding to controls (touch pad, volume adjustment from the phone etc) while music continues to play, or it'll seem responsive but the audio will just stop playing. I have to take the bud out of my ear, put it in the case for a second, then put it back in and everything is fine for a little while. I'm on the latest firmware (1.2.6 as of this writing), and the problem happens across all devices I've tested, with SBC, AAC and LDAC codecs. It's disappointing because the only other time I've had this sort of problem is with very cheap earbuds on ancient Bluetooth versions. I really didn't expect it at this price point.

Awesome sound quality, but they break.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've bought two of these. Both of them, after around 6 months of use, broke where it extends. It's a cheap plastic cover that protects the cables running on the side. Excellent quality, but poorly made. And it's not covered by warranty.
