Sure to the diversity of items that Best Buy has, I'm never against getting value back from them in a gift card. Not to mention, the coffee maker was already a year old, and the representative at the store have no push-back. There was also an option to go through the manufacturer's warranty, and that option was presented to me, but I wanted a resolution immediately. I would absolutely recommend getting Geek Squad Protection!
