Personally, if you are purchasing a handheld controller for your gaming device, getting the Geek Squad Protection is a must. Almost all controllers with joysticks will eventually give "stick drift" problems from casual gaming and the insurance helps replace that old controller without having to shell out the full price. It has never failed me as I've used this protection twice already, and everytime I do, I purchase the protection again. Must buy. Must protect.

This controller surprised me with how light it is. I normally use a wired controller and even this is lighter than that. I havent had any problems with it long battery life normaly last a couple days with 3-4 hour gaming sessions. The only thing i would say is i wished that the cack buttons had a bit more space between them i foinf myself accidentally pressing the wong buton from time to time. As for the screen i like the abilities that you get like adjusting conected headphones mix and volume without having to go though any menu's. I sometimes conect my iems to this controller and make it very convenient.

Worth it. I think the price is based on how much the item costs but $50 to guarantee a new item within two years is worth. In two years if there’s anything even slightly wrong just take it in and you’ll likely walk out with a brand new version of your item.

I bought the “excellent” option for this. It says it comes with original box and paper eork for the excellent option. I didn’t get anything. The controller had a few scuffs obviously was not expecting brand new. No complaints on the controller it’s self just wanted the box! But thats ok anyways!

I buy the Geek Squad Protection on literally every item that offers it. Using the warranty is always a seemless process and I much prefer working with people at Best Buy in person than attempting to contact any sort of brand over the phone/email and praying for a response.

It is always a good idea to buy the extended warranty. The only thing I don’t like about it is you have to purchase the warranty a second time once you return an item. It should be valued no matter how many items you return until the term expires.

This controller feels amazing to use. The back buttons and trigger stops make a big difference, especially in fast paced games. I like being able to set up different profiles and switch depending on the game which makes it super convenient. The build quality feels solid and premium. The only downside is the battery dies quick, but the charging cable is long enough so it has not been a big issue. Overall it is expensive but you can tell Sony put a lot of thought into it.

Never buy a product without it. Sure, you could use the manufacturer's warranty, but this protection plan just makes things easier.

I love that you can get this option and have it just incase anything happens to the product and they are amazing at helping with any issues you have I absolutely love using the geek squad service

This protection was bought for my son's Xbox series X controller which provides for free replacement once he breaks it which always happens so protection is a must can't live without it for kids under 12
