The warranty itself is great, but I shouldn't have to spend $60 every other month getting a warranty replacement on these controllers because they suck. They're incredible controllers, but for whatever reason they're notorious for having a button go out here or a stick go out there. I have my controller for less than a month and the B button is stuck. It's a $200 controller I shouldn't have to pay $60 six times a year to use it.

Hassle free experience…. I think not . I was harassed and told I didn’t purchase this item at the store I clearly bought it from I even have the digital receipt and management doesn’t want to do an echange even for a cheaper 6 dollar less controller . These colored controllers cost more than the white and black ps5 controller

I cannot express how much peace of mind I gain knowing that if anything happens to my device, I can usually have it replaced same day with a brand new one (sometimes even an upgrade!) I no longer feel the need to use a case, so I get to enjoy the design of the hardware as intended. Anything even remotely breakable and valuable? I’m getting the protection plan.

Bought a nice Samsung gaming monitor and didn’t put protection on it that day prior to becoming a My Best Buy member. Regretted it and wanted to put it on the monitor and they allowed me to put it on it retroactively. Best Buy is the best way.

Geek Squad Insurance is a must. If you have and technical problem they will solve the problem. Buy any item thats electrical and it will be insured automatically.

This controller surprised me with how light it is. I normally use a wired controller and even this is lighter than that. I havent had any problems with it long battery life normaly last a couple days with 3-4 hour gaming sessions. The only thing i would say is i wished that the cack buttons had a bit more space between them i foinf myself accidentally pressing the wong buton from time to time. As for the screen i like the abilities that you get like adjusting conected headphones mix and volume without having to go though any menu's. I sometimes conect my iems to this controller and make it very convenient.

Personally, if you are purchasing a handheld controller for your gaming device, getting the Geek Squad Protection is a must. Almost all controllers with joysticks will eventually give "stick drift" problems from casual gaming and the insurance helps replace that old controller without having to shell out the full price. It has never failed me as I've used this protection twice already, and everytime I do, I purchase the protection again. Must buy. Must protect.

There was a small issue with his lil chip thing that plugs into the console. I went online and set up an inspection for repairs, and they ended up trading it in for a brand new set. They didnt have my exact one in stock but luckily they color i wanted when i first ordered which was out of stock at that time. Excellent service troughout the entire transaction.

I bought the “excellent” option for this. It says it comes with original box and paper eork for the excellent option. I didn’t get anything. The controller had a few scuffs obviously was not expecting brand new. No complaints on the controller it’s self just wanted the box! But thats ok anyways!

What more does someone have to say about the insurance, but "buy insurance, pay less when you return an item".. I return my old controllers at around 1-2 years because I use and abuse my controllers to the max. I have not been seeing any change in the controllers. Same old stick drift with every return.

Getting a protection is equivalent to peace of mind.! I highly recommend to get a protection for every electronics or appliances you buy. Peace of mind is priceless.

Worth it. I think the price is based on how much the item costs but $50 to guarantee a new item within two years is worth. In two years if there’s anything even slightly wrong just take it in and you’ll likely walk out with a brand new version of your item.
