So, my kid accidentally spilled a drink on his xbox one. I called and they said, bring it in, and you will get a replacement right away. My husband was sent home with the same broken xbox with unclear reason. They didnt have in stock and their system was down. Next, I called again was told no problem, a replacement would be ready. I went and was told by the unfriendly cust serv lady that it has to be sent out. May not even be covered. She seemed to be negative about me wanting to replace it. After about 2 hours, talking to manager, it was replaced just as they told me over the phone. What i got out of it, the people at the cedar hill, tx location are poorly trained on the warranties. It seemed the computer was telling them the options available so I wondered why they were telling me things before putting it thru, even the manager. They will give you a refurbished item replacement if they have one, if they dont have one, you will get a new one. In some instances they do send it out to get fixed and you will have to wait. Big, giant hassle, but was worth the replacement. I do not like buying a warranty and then being hassled and treated like i did something wrong for using it!!! I will say in the past it has not been such a hassle but the last 2 times i went, got the same unfriendly cust serv lady, and she makes it a hassle.

This warranty is wonderful. If there’s any damage no matter the situation I can always have it replaced. Which is comforting to know since little glitches do tend to happen when mass producing new systems.

Geek squad is an excellent choice. In the past they have always taken care of any problems, or replacing. The cost for geek squad is nothing compared to having problems, or if something breaks.

I’m really happy to have the option to use Geek Squad if I need to. They have Tammy great reviews and I’ve heard awesome things about them.

Ive stated many times warranties are worth it for peace of mind. Younger generations are used to electronics being solid and not failing often. Thats a good thing and is a plus to technology feats. That said if you buy an expensive item you cant easily replace if you dont buy an extended warranty you will be upset if the item fails. Ive learned the hardway on multie occasions. Anytime Im paying over $500 for any electronic item Im buying a warranty.

Reliable. Will alwasy fix your defects. My first choice to go to get my electronics fixed

Why not get the protection plan. Just incase. Then I don't have the headache

Geek squad is amazing! I knew that i could've gotten the protection plan somewhere else forba less price, but I chose best buy to get my son's xbox from I've never had a bad experience with them..

always nice to have peace of mind that if something goes wrong i’ll have a way to get it sorted out. i always will get the extra protection plan on any “bigger” purchases.
