Sad treatment of loyal customer. I have been a loyal customer of BB for YEARS. Purchased gps to evacuate from hurricane Ida. Upon return we had no home, no car, no electricity for two weeks. We still are dealing with internet & power issues, rebuilding, etc. , nearly 6 weeks later. Our local Best Buy was also closed over 2 weeks. Returned gps to distant city BB went I went to retrieve my car, as I saw they were open. The wonderful thing, haha, was that because I bought the 2 year warranty I could get store credit for gps but not for the Geek Protection. So, I have a $109 store only credit, and a $140 bill ( which I used the BB card to get rewards!) for buying a lemon. I guess I will give the STORE CREDIT to someone who will not be avoiding BestBuy as best they can. Sad treatment. Way to kick someone when they are down, BestBuy.

I called and left several messages regarding my dash cam and it needing serviced and I never got a return call and now I see the window expired and I don’t have a working dash cam!! Really bad customer service!!

When I had to use the 3 year protection, I was charged for the portion of first year % of 3 year cost. If I had not purchased the 3 yr plan, the item would have been covered by MFG one year warranty, at no cost to me.

I don't know if I received a defect one or what, but we had problems with it from the get-go. The directions very specifically tell you how to insert the memory card in,,, the wrong way!. After I got past that hiccup we attempted to sync up with its Bluetooth, because you can't use it all unless you are using your phone and it's app. It synced up with my phone about 1 out of every 12 tries. Brought it to geek squad once since I had the protection on it. Returned it the 2nd time back. Got a different brand and model.

The GEEK SQUAD WARRANTY ISN'T WORTH THE PAPER IT'S WRITTEN ON. The CUSTOMER is ALWAYS WRONG and it's NOT THE PRODUCT it's the USER.

Once youve issued a claim with the plan you will have to purchase a secondary plan for the new item. Within 2 months the item failed and now a secondary purchase is "necessary" to continue coverage.

Still trying to finish registration Is any one going to read this

don't waste your money. I bought a laptop open box and geek squad was supposed to have been over it but when i got home it had a virus they did fix it but should have been caught before going back on the floor for sale

My geek squad protection was activated about 10 days prior to me receiving my product. It activated as soon as the product shipped. I may need those 10 days extra in the future. Not cool. Please fix this Best Buy.

Was not explained that you had to have total tech, when i always bought 2 years extended warranty on gps

This purchase was added to my account without my authorization and should not have been done by Best Buy.

waste of money can not locate home address called support they will fix but could take a year

Since the product didn't work. Got a replacement that also didn't work.

AGENT DIDN'T HELP AT ALL AND INSTEAD TOLD ME TO CALL MANUFACTURER, SERVICE SUCKED

This thing was too complicated to set up. I just didn’t have the patience for it so that’s why I returned it

Geek squad protection is peace of mind, i always buy protection for my products! Save your investments.

Had them come out to help with new 65” TV and received hardly any hands on help few years back!

It just made sense to return this if I didn't keep product
