I enjoy the evenings when it has the orange light so if lights do go off while my husband is watching a movie, it is just fine. It does not hurt my eyes either, they do not get tired!

I got this Kindle for her about a month before her birthday & by then she had already bought 13 novels & was finishing up her first! I couldn’t have gotten a better gift.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It's best to get the Service Plan...I purchased a Kindle Paperwhite and loved it...After about 10 months, it just quit powering up...Tried everything to get it to work, but no luck...Thank goodness for the Best Buy protection plan...Took to back to Best Buy and they gave me a new Kindle...You can't beat that type of service!......

I have had one in the oast but it had. Stopped working an would no longer hold a battery
