I haven't needed it yet, but Its good to have around.

Fortunately we purchased the 4 year product replacement for an HP printer. The printer quit working. Best Buy simply gave us store credit to replace the printer. No hassle at all. Turned out to be a valuable purchase.

When I had an issue with my printer, unfortunately they couldn’t fix it, but the refund for the Geek Squad protection went smoothly. They also advised me on better printers for my specific needs which I appreciated.

My printer had a malfunction that was not operator level to fix. My warrantee with HP had just expired a month earlier. The Geek Squad tech plugged it in, found that it wasn't something that could be repaired, and when the same model was not available, provided a gift card for the replacement value. I was able to replace the printer with a slightly better one with little coming out of my pocket. I was very satisfied with the service I received.

If you want to protect your investment because your budget isn't what it used to be (thanks inflation) then the extra cost of this product replacement is something you should seriously consider. I have had to use this policy once before, on a DJI gimbal I owned. After about 2 years, it started to act up, and for all intents and purposes, became useless. I took it back to Best Buy, and within a week I not only had a replacement at no additional cost, but the gimbal I received was the latest version. Definitely worth the money!

Used this warranty to replace a defective printer. I had no issues getting to printer replaced. Basically got a credit on the original price of the printer towards a netter printer. The only problem was dealing with the best buy geek squad person in the call center. Had to make an appointment through the person in the call center. The person at the call center was not knowledgeable and was hard to understand with a heavy accent like the call center was overseas. Once I convinced him that it was unfixable by phone and that I only wanted an appointment with the geek squad rep at my local store it was fine but it took an hour to get there. He kept asking for access to my pc to check my OS and drivers which i denied and tryed to explain to him that if was a mechanical problem with the printer and not a software issue. The printer was grinding and knocking and wouldnt initialize. Once I got to the store the geek squad rep was great. 10 minutes in and out with a new replacement printer. Its unfortunate that I had to deal with the un-knowledgeable person at the call center first. Recommend getting this warranty on high usage items like printers

I bought this because of reviews, other ratings. I'm finding THE ADF is not working properly. For this price point the printer should automatically push out paper draw and led section. Km finding the Epson all in one was much better in these areas.

I had a camera that i was having trouble with, we were on vacation and foud a bestbuy. Took in the sent it off fixed it and shipped it to me.

BEST BUY above and Beyond Replaced HP printer Good

What great about the Geek Squad replacement is the manufacturing typically provides a 1 year warranty BUT the Geek Squad replacement extends the “warranty” with their replacement program. Frankly, that’s the primary reason I purchase from Best Buy.

I need a new printer with airprint as my old one (also Canon MF) did not have this function. After research and reading reviews from other buyers online, I bought this one. I was very surprised and pleased with how easy the setup was. Setup was all wireless, although wired option was also available. I was able to print wireless from all of my Apple devices: iPhone, iPad, MacBook Pro, and iMac. Print quality is excellent. I can not comment on long term use. I will review this printer again in 12 months.
