I was able to get the protection replacement for a few bucks which when dealing with electronics (IMO) is a must. This said, you'll need to consider your own personal comfort level with an add-on service plan, but if it's cheap, for me it's a no-brainer.

I have learned this the hard way a few times... I now always buy the Geek Squad extended warranty. I don't always need it, but when I do, it is a relief. For us this has been great for things like headphones, computer monitors, and video games.

I bought this for the Logitech MX3 mouse. I plan on using it a lot and working between my MacBook Pro and Windows Laptop. I can use this between the two with their uniform software that lets you seamless copy between the two devices.

I always get the protection plans. I am a total tech support member and plans are sold to me at a discounted rate. I like the feeling I get knowing I have additional coverage to protect my investment in the case of a breakdown.

I have a 12 yr old and I have gotten my money's worth with this coverage on certain purchases. It's worth it to get on certain products. I've not had any issues with coverage when I've needed to use it.

It was actually worth it. I got this on an Alienware mouse that ended up breaking within a month or so and since I had this I was able to get it replaced for free.

I bought my grandson a headset from Best buy for Christmas and had to utilize the warranty a couple weeks after that.very easy claim process through the warranty and that is why I tend to buy a lot of electronics at Best buy with their warranty.

Had bought a computer and system was not wiped from retail mode when setting up computer after purchase (open box). Let staff know what was up, they immediately assisted me for what I needed. System was returned to me later that day ready to go.
