My JBLs free lasted for 3 years. The JBL Free have been great earbuds, but they have had issues lately trying to get them to hold a charge. Would love some new ones!!!

While I haven't had to use this particular Geek Squad Product Replacement, I've used every other one I've purchased for every other headphone/earphones I've bought. Maybe that says something about the Jaybird Tarah Pros that I have used the replacement but it was a HUGE relief every other time I had something go wrong with other earphones. Hassle-free and great customer service. As in, yes I see the problem too -let me start the process while you go look for your replacement product. Well worth the money!!

Seriously, I refuse to go absolutely anywhere else for something that can be purchased with a product replacement warranty! When they say “bring it in if you have a problem and we’ll replace it, no questions asked!!”, THEY MEAN EXACTLY THAT!! I do try to take care of my things but we all know sometimes electronics go buggy. I have complete confidence that when I take my product back to Best Buy, they will replace the item! Seriously!!! Who is buying electronics, phones, appliances, games and gaming systems, etc. anywhere else?!?!

wont break down like other headphones, wont loose the ear bud, it stays on you to the point its apart of you. has insane battery life. the ear buds don't fall out easily, and they do block out a good amount of ambient sound.charges quickly. And they are very rugged. they have a good distance, depending on the device its connected to. and sound quality is great, had more then one device connected to it at a time. has a vibrate feature to let you know if some one is calling, it can be turned off. and has other features as well, to the point you all most don't ever need to take your phone out of your pocket ever.. it is a very natural and conforming wearable tech. jest put it on and you can easily forget about it

I always like to purchase these just in case, You never know what may happen in everyday use. Protect your purchase. You can't get protection on AirPods, but you can other earbuds. It's worth it. I bought AirPods and had to struggle with apple to get replacements for the ones i had that went bad. Took my up to 2 hours to get an appointment, have them checked out, and then eventually walk out with 1, that's right, I said 1 AirPod replacement. Ridiculous. Instead I bought Bose Soundsport Free wireless earbuds, and if something goes wrong with these, I can come in and swap them out with a replacement and walk out 10 minutes later, no hassle. Forget Apple AirPods.

I would recommend this service for any item that you have regular physical contact with, such as headphones, controllers, laptops, cellphones, keyboards, mice, and anything else that has the potential for accidental damage, because without it, you are out of luck if anything happens.
I would personally not recommend this for things such as appliances, (TVs, Refrigerators, Washing/Drying machines) because there is less of a chance that something bad could happen to them.

Okay not going to lie, I read way too many reviews, and really dislike the long writes, and the over the top it can't be true descriptions.
What can i say. Jaybirds X1, 2, and 3's...had them. So far they just didn't get the thumbs up with me, mainly for sound quality. Hey, I like nice earbuds, and they better sound good if I shell out $$$ for a audio device!
Bose did it, the sound is almost as good as wired headphones, and they are wireless! My likes, Soundsports will tell you on/off, and how much battery is left, like battery is 50%, Range is about 30-40 ft., they fit comfortly in my ears, 3 color schemes to choose. Battery not sure, i have never tested from full to end, but I bet it is what everyone expects. Now for dislikes, they are big of course but i knew that when I bought them, and they are not much bigger then most other brands. They do have a tendency to skip signal on occasion. Maybe clear path, or less obstructions i have had them work perfectly walking around a brick wall so I don't know? Maybe a software issue is to Blame which is completely future fixable. So Bose you still need some work for better connections, better battery, and smaller devices, that is the name of the game, so get cracking... I am sure you are already on it

Decided to purchase these bluetooth earbuds for work since corded earbuds are a hassle for me while working. After using them for a month now I can honestly say I am happy with this purchase. The battery generally lasts me all night in a 6 hour work period and sound quality is clean and loud due to the noise cancellation. They fit into place and the added insert surprisingly hold them in place while I'm active and have not fallen out. My issues with this item would be when you raise or lower the volume you will get a beep in response which cuts out the music you're listening too and the USB cable is sturdy which is awkward to place down when charging it. Other than that the pros outweigh the cons with this headset.

I have used Geek Squad one time, to fix my TV that was less than a year old. They came out and replaced the mother board (I think that’s what it was), and while they were there put my TV on all the optimum settings. If they had not been able to fix it, they would’ve given me a new TV. The TV has worked perfectly ever since. When my contract ran out, I was given the option to renew, which I definitely did! Totally worth it.

I don't usually buy protection plans-usually works out it isn't much more expensive to buy a new item. Especially if it anything electronic, by the time something breaks they have a better version anyway. That said, I always buy my headphones from Best Buy and because I can get the warranty. Sooner or later one side goes out, or the whole thing dies. Best Buy is great at letting you exchange the damaged ones for new ones-you can even get different ones. If you have time left on your warranty, they apply some money toward your new item. Customer service is great. I have had to do this several times and have never had a problem or even questions. Highly recommend buying the warranty.

I will only buy warrantee from Geek Squad because they are about one of the VERY FEW company that actually honors their warrantee. They will actually repair or replace your item as promised. The customer service are respectful, supportive and eager to help. They will not give you the run around like most other company like walmart third party warrantee. I am happy to pay the extra to get geek squad warrantee especially on expensive electronic items that are over $200 value. I’ll recommend it to anyone.

What can I say, I love shopping at best buy and being able to take out a protection plan in case I do something dumb is a bonus that in most cases I can't pass up. I am reassured that if the products defects I am protected and if someone I defect and damage it (in most cases) I am yet again, protected. 5 Stars .... at least until they tell me NO - you are not protected ... hasn't happened yet LOL

They are extremely light too.
2- Sound- I'm no audiophile so i will not comment on technical sound specifics but the from the things i do know i have no complaint. The bass is great, i for one do not use it heavily in my music, but the amount that is there i think is enough to satisfy those who like it. I listen to a lot of podcasts and the voice tones are crisp and clear. I listen to most of my music through Spotify, and for those who like to play with equalizers to get those specific tones and ranges, the equalizer on this app pairs beautifully with these headphones.

Have used this service before with a tablet, its true about no questions asked. My sons tablet wouldn't turn on anymore even after sitting on the charger for days.
Took it in, explained what happened, they attempted to turn it on, but no dice. Was given a store credit and went and pick up another tablet.

We just relocated to Florida after selling most of our belongings and in need of many renovations in our new home. Best Buy recommended a 1 year service plan ($149) which would give us Geek Squad services at no charge or at a greatly reduced rate. So far it has more than paid for itself as we have had a dishwasher delivered and installed, a TV delivered, wall mounted and installed and soon to be two laptops serviced. The technicians have been professional, courteous, communicative and very efficient. We have 8 months to go and will continue to find ways to utilize this great service.

Listen, I know getting warranties is sometimes an iffy thing.
But it's a REPLACEMENT plan. They stop working? Take them in to your local best buy and get them replaced.
They're not going to send your headphones off or make you deal with the manufacturer like you would have to otherwise.
I for one go through several pairs of headphones a year. They're a device that doesn't handle heavy use super well. This has been a lifesaver.

Had to come in over a geek squad issue with my son. These guys were just different all over the store. We were met with people who I felt really wanted to help us with our problem. There was an issue with the warranty and the person that helped us would not stop until we were taken care of and happy. Huge fan of Best Buy already but this store must have one heck of a manager to inspire the staff to this level of excellence.

I have had to use the warranty Best Buy offers on more than one occasion, and they have always been very useful when needed. I have had to replace a car stereo, and a few other hand held type electronic devices, and with this warranty there was no issue at all. They will first determine if the product can be repaired, but if not they will refund your money, or give you something equivalent to what you had at the time. It is worth it every time when you are talking about electronic equipment. This stuff is just way too expensive to not get a warranty!

Ok ...so I am never one to do the extended warranty or whatever gets offered for every purchase.... when I bought this for headphones...and first time with Bose.... I was intruiged as the clerk told me about it....and I was REALLY skeptical.... but headphones...how much I use them and replace them.... ok sure I will bite the bullet and see......OMG!!! Seriously the program works exactly as described and I would not purchase headphones anywhere else and always get this...not to mention I tell everyone about it and tell them to go to Best Buy...LOVE THIS!!!

Best Product Replacement Plan Anywhere

If there are any electronic items that you want to keep past two years, you should always add this plan. The Free Rewards Membership is a most as well since it allows you to bring items back without a receipt because they can look it up by the membership info. The plan itself allows you to also take chances on Products with high failure/breakage reviews. Note: If it breaks before a given date (ask associates - mine was longer than 90 days in one case) and there is no available same product replacement, they will refund everything even the cost of the plan!
