I purchase Geek Squad Protection for all of my Best Buy purchases that it is available on. Fortunately I have never had to use it but it is nice to have that peace of mind knowing I have it should I ever need it. Also, compared to other merchants protection plans nothing compares to Best Buys in regards to taking care of the customer. That is why I always shop at Best Buy if they carry an item that I want or need!

I've purchased protection plans through Best Buy in the past and I've had a good experience when I've had to either replace a product or get one serviced. I purchased a Altec Lansing Bluetooth Speaker and use it quite a bit. I'm happy with my purchase and happy knowing that Best Buy will replace my product if it stops working down the road!

Not only can you replace or even upgrade your device with no questions asked except what's wrong with it, if you replace something and a new model comes out and the price of the one you already have has gone down, you get money back! If you upgrade, you only pay the difference. You can also extend the 2 year warranty at the end of it. There is literally no reason to not get the 2 year warranty.

I highly recommend u purchase this on top of buying your product because it comes in hand. I really needed new earphones because mine went out and I just had to take it back within the warranty date and received new ones. When you purchase this, be sure to get the receipt sent to your e-mail so you have an extra receipt because you will need it or the best buy members can look it up for ya.

It costs around 10-20% of your product but after taking this you can sleep peacefully as rest is taken care by Bestbuy. Geek squad at Best Buy are your best gate keepers for all electronic products. Never buy any product with geek squad. You realize it's worth only when anything goes wrong with your electronic product . Either your product gets FIXED or replaced no questions asked. Go and buy it

Like any other rehargable battery, battery life will diminish with time and charge cycles. After a year and a half or so of heavy usage the battery life will no longer be at acceptable levels, and that is when the replacement plan will kick in, and be used to purchase a shiny new unit with a nice strong battery. It don’t want to be rude but it would actually be a bit dense not to purchase this plan.

I only buy my eloctrinics from Best Buy, and I ALWAYS purchase the Best Buy extended warranty. Electronics can be finicky, and don’t always work as well as expected, but with the Best Buy extended warranty, you can just go directly to the store, and exchange a defective product with absolutely no hassle, and without having to deal with the manufacturer. Always worth every penny!

I have learned over the years that the maximum warranty pays for itself eventually. Sometimes it pays for itself the first time you need to use it. Unless you're savvy enough to do the repairs yourself or want to spend hours researching and trying to figure things out yourself...and you might break something while you're at it.

I have a teenager and he is hard on products. Best Buy truly stands by there replacement program. I have saved a lot of money purchasing their warrenty package. I typically think warranties are a waste of money, but this is not one of those cases. Thank you BB!!!

I bought the warranty for my bluetooth headset, and the Geek Squad employee has assured me that, whenever it fails during the 2 year term, I'll get a replacement, no questions asked. DO note however, that in this case, whenever you claim the warranty, it will be a one-time replacement and they'll be done with you. However, you can buy another warranty for the replacement so you can be protected for longer.

Surely, a guarantee of the US' largest consumer electronic retailer to do any number of things has value; not to mention Geek Squad's services can be very impressive (I highly recommend their TV wall mounting service). ... Ultimately, Geek Squad Services are worth it to some people, but not others.

I added this to cover a pair of bluetooth headphones and ended up using it twice. Worth the money for most items to protect your investment and when I eventually gave up on replacing the item I had trouble with, I got full value back for the item. Small price to pay to be able to walk away from a bad purchase.

I always pay more to buy these geek squad warranties. I probably make use out of 75% of them so They generally pay off and are so simple to use. You bring device to store, tell them what’s wrong and then they check if there’s a replacement. If there isn’t, you get the full price paid back.

I have the Echo and recently purchased the Dot to keep in the exercise room. It works great. Very convenient. Easy way to listen to music. I also bought one for a gift. They were thrilled. The Echo has a better sound than the Dot but you can add a portable blue tooth speaker which I have done. Now I don't have to move my Echo throughout the house. I also use it on the patio.

I have always been a fan of Best Buy Service Plans. Granted it is like every other insurance: you hate paying for it, but you hate not having it when you need it. I have been on both sides of Best Buy Service Plans: I have purchased some and never used it and I have purchased some and used it. The experiences that I have had using them have all been good so I continue to purchase the service plans.

I got this for my wife's insignia pressure cooker so far she loves it but if something does happen we will be able to exchange it or take it back. Please keep this up Best Buy it's a nice piece of mind you know you can at least get your money back or get another one sometimes the warranties can be pricey though

I was originally going to buy the bose soundlink, but found the sony for less than half the price of the the bose. I tried it out, and it sounds almost exactly like the bose soundlink. Sound reaches very loud, easy to use and connect with device. The only thing I wish the sony speaker had was a forward button to play the next song, but not that big of a deal. Overall, very happy with my purchase.

When it comes to stuff you use daily I personally truly recommend getting geek squad on your products you frequently use daily. Because the protection is so worth it, and they have replaced me original earphones for new ones I simply go and pick them out myself and bring up front for them to continue the transaction or I can get the credit and buy it myself in the cashier.

My favorite thing about Best Buy is their replacement plans! I received earbuds as a gift and they lasted an entire year, which is awesome, but then they stopped working, I had no fear I simply went to Best Buy, showed my receipt & picked up my new earbuds! This is an absolute must for any electronic item you purchase! Thanks Best Buy my gift will keep giving for years!!

We have purchased the Geek Squad warranty for several items, but have only had to use it for a $20 pair of headphones of all things. When it came time to exchange them, it was easy to do and the staff was very helpful. Bonus, since it had been less than a month since we purchased the earbuds, they extended the warranty onto the new pair without charging us. It has been worth every penny.
