Geek squad service is a must. If you are buying anything from best buy, it is worth spending a fee bucks for the geek squad protection. I got a sony TV and installed the tv stands. I noticed after my installation that the TV was shaking and it could fall down. I called best buy and the Geek Squad team were very happy to help.

In the past when I purchased my Samsung tv, my old one I just replaced, I purchased the extended warranty for that one. When it developed lines on the picture, within a day someone came out. checked the tv and was not fixable, I was given a number to call and a replacement arrived a few days later. Given the price for the extended warranty and the final outcome, it was well worth it. I purchased the extended warranty again for this tv, for "just in case". It is a decision I feel that is best for me.

It’s definitely worth having protection in case anything happens.

I always get the 5 year warranty on my TVs because they inevitability end up dying on me or getting stuck pixels and best buy has always been great about fixing the tv if they can, or usually they just refund the price I paid and that usually is more than enough to get a new TV woth better resolution and get another warranty. Newer TVs may have a great picture but the build quality is nothing compared old CRT TVs so it is worth it to get the warranty on products like this or any electronics because they always seem to fail within 5 years.

The TV was good until it wasn’t. Everything was great and the clarity was amazing until right around the time the geek squad protection plan expired. A little over two years the clarity is horrible and liked shows here and there thought out the sceeen. What looks like white lines are not apart of the show as this is how is shows up

Ordered protection after my purchase. The customer service representative was great. Got the plan set up and paid for without going back to the store.

It just arrived, I installed it and everything was as expected, great image quality, sound. The perfect installation process, the TV does everything almost by itself, I recommend it to all those who are lovers of good things in terms of quality-price, I recommend that two people assemble it due to the weight and safety

Used mine on a floor Model tv Turns out it had an issue that rebooted it every 30 min. Was totally worth it

I've only had to use the geek squad a couple of times. And each time they we very helpful.

Would not purchase an expense item without having a extended warranty and the price was right.
