    Purchased a Sony TV in June, along with it I purchased Best Buy's 5 year extended warranty. The set developed a problem in Nov. Called the Geek Squad and described the problem. The knowledgeable representative diagnosed the situation over the phone and explained it was a panel failure that could not be repaired. He emailed me an exchange order to bring to my local BB store. Brought the paperwork to the store and they set up a delivery/pickup date for 2 days later. Had I chosen to bring my set in they would have made the exchange right there in the store. All of this took less than an hour to accomplish. Two days later I had my new TV...WOW! Throughout this process every person I dealt with was extremely courteous and helpful. They even offered to let me apply my original purchase price towards any other TV that they carried. Love my Sony so I told them "no thanks". Purchasing that extended warranty was truly a Best Buy for me.

    This is definitely a fantastic product. I bought it for my mom as a Christmas present and she absolutely loves it. She watches our favorite shows and movies on it and it’s great to have a bunch of family to enjoy it also.

    Any time I have issues with any of my devices to do a warranty on them they always have it taken care of in a timely manor. Will continue to utilize this option with my future purchases

    Covers everything. When something stops working you give it to the geek squad and they hand you a gift card for the purchase amount. Easy as pie.

    We were disappointed with our TV purchase as it gave us problems from day 1 however after speaking with Geek Squad, they sent a technician to diagnose the problem and scheduled a, immediate replacement which we are now enjoying. They were very easy to deal with and the 2 gentlemen who delivered our TV were very professional and their communication with us regarding arrival time was excellent as we were able to ensure we were there to receive the delivery. all in all, they were fantastic to deal with from the 1st call,

    I had some issues with my television, due to an update on when updating the software. Finally, after some time the manufacturer sent out a tech to remove some hardware on my tv and replace it. My warranty did not start till within a year from the purchased date. And that is ok, my television is still on and taken care of either way... It just took a couple of days like 30-45 days due to scheduling and procedures with the manufacturer. However, it saved me a couple hundred dollars...

    Whenever I need help tech support Geek Squad is there to help very knowledgeable and always help me out can't go wrong I recommend getting out from Geek Squad if you can't figure things out

    5yr Protection Pays Off

    Although the 5 year Geek Squad Protection Plan is up front pricey, it delivers as promised. I've replaced 2 TV's due to screen failure and have received full credit towards a replacement. The exchange doesn't occur overnight, but it happens.

    Usually extended warranty's are not worth the price, but with Best Buy I love it. When I had a problem in the past, Best Buy has taken great care of me with no hassles. They have made good when it counts. I may not get the additional protection, but for electronics which can have a high failure rate I always purchase from Best Buy and get the added protection. From what I have read and experienced their coverage is the best and typically the longest. I know of enough people who's TV has died after a year and a half (after the warranty), who were out of luck as they did not purchase the extended coverage. Also, I prefer buying TV's and many items at Best Buy vs all the competitors including Amazon who has given me terrible customer service.

    We got the 5 year warranty on an out of the box TV and so well worth it .. TV had a bad cooling fan when we first turned it on so we took it to Geek Squad and they sent it to Samsung and they replaced the Motherboard .. the TV looks and is amazing

    I think it's good to always purchase extra service and warranty protection for electronics/appliances and I got this one for a steal 2 years plus additional year warranty not bad and happy to have it

    Geek squad was very fast when i had to get new tv because my went bad very nice on phone and because they couldnt get the tv i had they got me a bigger on and just as nice probley better and i wanted bigger from the start but couldnt find what i wanted but when mine didnt work any more a d i calles them and after they checked everything i got the help i needed and they found what i wanted and were right on top of it zi will never buy from any were else after that any were else and it would be a problem but not best buy tbey are great and i stick by them and now i have all my friends and family doing the same thank u beat buy i will never by a tv from any one but u
