Their is no other store with the backup to an accient or issue like best buy. They are the best at protection

I am loyal to Samsung TVs never had an issue until this tv made a pop noise and went out. The motherboard was out of stock since this size is no longer sold and BB Geek Squad replaced it. I like the Geek Squad but had to wait 2 weeks for an appointment and another week for an ordered part that was cancelled just to replace the unit. I will not be purchasing the warranty on the new unit due to this, as I have additional insurance for all electronics in my home. Do better Geek Squad!

Purchase price was excellent. Hopefully I won’t need this but if I do, it will more than pay for itself

I will always purchase the Best Buy warranties for appliances or large electronics. Worth every penny. I’ve used the warranties before and it’s been a smooth process. Couldn’t fix item so they gave me store credit for the original amount of the tv

Had my lgc1 get burn in and got refunded the full amount very quickly. Upgraded to the lgc4 very happy with this choice

The extra 5 years cost me $40 and I think it's completely worth it. It does not cover physical accidental damage. I bought a Samsung TV from Bestbuy and after 4 years of long use via gaming, the power supply went out, something the warranty would cover or if there's a bad HDMI cord.

This for us is a no brainer. If your making a big investment the piece of mind geek squad gives you is nice. I bought this exact same tv a couple of years ago with no protection true story and after a couple of months the screen broke. That tv is at the town dump. Anything can happen and no it wasn’t the kids. Life happens. Even after the year a line can come down one side then the other and your out of luck. Then you’ll be wishing you got that protection. So take my inexperience as a reviewer and just get that much needed protection. Hope I helped.

Well worth it for certain item levels. Very useful option for peace of mind. Since Samsung doesn't think much of their products and provide a minimal warranty I got this to be safe. My last tv has lasted well but the next one failed in less than 2 yrs. I Showed them the issues and they instantly gave me full credit of purchase price. Too bad they don't consider a sale price when giving credit. I had to pay out a little over $100 to get an exact replacement with the current model since there were no sales at the time.

I have had Geek Squad’s support a few times. They are always helpful: phone or in-person! So for me having the yearly plan is a no-brainer. However, I still think Best Buy should not have removed the inclusion of complimentary home set up that they had up until this year!

I got burned (pun intended) with my Sony A1E OLED with a couple burn ins in just owning it for 2 and a half years and didn’t have coverage. Upgraded to the LG GX OLED for my new XBOX Series X console and couldn’t be happier. I now have peace of mind knowing Geek Squad will protect from burn ins. I have used Geek Squad in the past for a product and the service is the best. No haggle or hassle. If you purchase a OLED tv I would highly recommend purchasing from Best Buy along with the geek squad protection. I purchased the 5 year plan. The cost was fair.

The Geek squad protection had to be activated for my Samsung 55" inch TV after 3 years. Plus side: I was able to get the value for the TV to trade in for another TV. Minus: once you have to 'activate' your Geek squad for the trade in you lose it. I think it could be argued that if the Geek Squad concurs that your TV can't be fixed and needs to be replaced after 3 years, why shouldn't I still have two years of Geek Squad Protection left? So I guess it's not so much 'protection' as 'insurance,' but def. better than having to buy a new TV flat out.

Thankfully, I have not had to utilize the incredibly beneficial Geek Squad services quite yet, but it's refreshing to know they are available if needed

We purchased this extended warranty because my dad has recently been having issues with his Samsung TV. The TV itself is really good until it glitched out at less than four months. The Samsung rep gave me the option of having their subcontracted serviceman or Geek squad handle it and I chose Geek Squad thinking it would be faster. Turns out it was but the person who set up and scheduled did not diagnose the problem correctly and therefore ordered the wrong part. I decided to keep having Geek Squad reschedule to fix but decided to try to see if Samsung could get it done earlier but when Samsung scheduled the service call, the company and number given were unreachable by phone and I couldn’t find them listed in Hawaii so I cancelled it and will look forward to next weekend when Geek Squad will return.

Bought this extend warranty due to the great experience that I had with the Geek Squad on another issue
