Protection Plan is good if damaged an can't be fixed they will replace

I never needed to use it but it was there in case of the need. Best buy is great for all things needed!!!

While I have bought these Protection plans on higher priced items over the years, I rarely have had to use them. So glad I did get the plan though when something breaks and Best Buy fixes and or replaces the item with no hassle 99% the time. I only left off one star for the simple reason that I almost never get to use the plan. I take care of my stuff and guess have had good luck.

Geek squad took care of my faulty 4k player and gave me a store credit for about half of what I paid after about 2 years of use. Support was helpful and communicative. I took off a star for the 50% refund.

It was an excellent purchase and it came quick n fast

I recently used one where they replaced the item with same exact model, even though the price of the item increased.

The biggest thing I don't like about buying product insurance plan from Best Buy is having to re buy and new plan for a replacement item. If I'm buying the same product, same plan, not a new plan! It should be the plan time period originally bought !!

Bought this for an Open Box, Excellent Condition, Panasonic Blu-Ray player. Inexpensive insurance just in case anything comes up, especially since it was an open box purchase. Have not had to use it so far.

So far it's great insurance. the couple of times I used it, it was a smooth transaction. I always get it with all my big purchases.

The place where my player is kept, is a bedroom that tends to get hot over the summer months.. I recommend this plan to anyone who has a similar situation with their blu ray player..

When spending as much on whatever it was that I purchased this for, it made sense to do. I bought a lot in a short period of time so I don’t remember what it was that I purchased this for.

Always need some back up, I think the value isn’t always there for the amount of time your covered but better than no coverage.

Much needed as long as you manage the product safely and need to protect yourself in case of product needs servicing it better to be safe than sorry.

We installed the device ourselves, all went well. Was impressed.

Never had to use and im sure would be hassle anyway but get in case and always wait for sale so warranty is basically free.
