Geek squad protection should be a no brainer. Always buy it with any electronic you purchase. You never know what will happen. Think of the last time something broke and how you wish you had bought the extended warranty. Don’t rely on the manufacturer’s warranty! It’s so difficult to use, trust me! If moneys an issue than ask a bbuy employee if they have an open box version. That way with the savings you receive it will cover the cost of the geek squad protection.

Always get the geek squad service extension. They have always, immediately fixed or replaced the item with no questions asked. If they do not have item in store, you will get store credit and then you can purchase it again or another item. You not regret purchasing it, ESPECIALLY IF THE ITEM IS AN ice maker

I bought the 2 year warranty for my mini fridge and haven’t needed to use it yet so I can’t review the geek squads work theirselves but I’m happy I bought the warranty because I truly love my mini fridge

Bought the plan to cover issues if they happen. Hopfully fridge will work for a long time!

Haven't had to use it so far...hopefully we won't have to use it, but if we do... I am sure we will be glad we got it! :)

I have not had to use my Geek Squad and really don't think I will need it but purchased it because I have other policies under Geek and have been very satisfied. And my daughter has had to use her Geek Squad policy and they made things right on the spot. Good Squad.

So I purchased this with a countertop ice maker and let me tell you the value of this! Within a few months my Ice maker went bad and I made an appointment at Best Buy within 10 mins I had a refund of the product and they refunded the rest of the warranty! No hassle and super easy!

I’ve used this feature for all my purchases and I’m so pleased with the help that I’ve received with my past malfunctions. And sometimes it’s not even the malfunction of the product. But mine personally. Lol

We bought all new Samsung appliances for our kitchen. We have had a few issues through the last two years with each appliance, and the Geek Squad service has been excellent. They replaced the whole top of my stove, they have repaired our ice makes on the fridge, and adjusted some of the parts on the dishwasher. Great home service through the pandemic. I do have this protection on my LG TV too, but hated that it was outsourced to a company that is two hours away from me and took almost two weeks to get my TV back from repair.

I had purchased the refrigerator and the 5 year Geek Squad protection. Within the first 6 months the refrigerator had to be replaced. I did not get a new 5 year plan or 4.5 year plan with the new refrigerator that I paid for. I was not informed that the plan was replaced by the "NEW" 4 year plan. Yes it is good coverage, but that is not what I paid money for, I lost 6 months of the original service plan. This plan has covered 6 repairs and replacements to this refrigerators ice maker and they were willing to help me with the information to have the item repaired by Samsung. My lesson, never assume and ask every question that comes to mind.

Bought this one year ago and have not had any problems. Cleaning is easy and the machine is quiet. Best Buy makes it easy to exchange if I have any problems so I bypassed Amazon in favor of Best Buy and a three-year warranty. Love the size of the tiny cubes. Reminds me of Sonic ice

I bought the extended coverage for my LG laundry unit. I haven't had to use the coverage, but glad its there if I need it.

Worth having the protection, you never know when it's needed. Anything could happen, worth the investment.

I think great mini fidge to store my soda, microwave dinners and ice cream. It hasn’t leaked yet. It is a nice sized mini fridge to store small easy to eat food and small drinks.

If you want expert installation in a timely manner and efficiently, then you must have Geek Squad to do the job. They will make sure it’s installed properly and for longevity so it doesn’t have to be moved to be more efficient. If there’s any questions about the process or anything, Geek Squad will help you with that.

I am always happy to purchase Geek Squad protection, because if I need it I know it is always honored.... at least it has been for me.

I typically get extended service support for any item that might be prone to failure in the first two years of service. So far, this has worked well for me. The Geek Squad has been my go to service for whenever I bump into issues with products I've received from Best Buy.

This protection is very helpful for issues with the product. Very handy to have when needed.
