This plan gives me a piece of mind that if I have an issue - i should be able to get it resolved easier than having to deal with the mfg.

My nugget ice maker failed on me after a little more than 2 years. They had to send it off to a remote service center, and told me it would take 4-5 weeks and I was sad, but then 1 week later they told me that it was unrepairable and basically offered a store credit refund so I could get a new one (or something else). The only catch was that I bought the unit on a good sale, and it was now on not quite as good of a sale so I had to pay a little more beyond the store credit, but the Geek Squad protection plan is still worth it because the process is just so much easier than other retailers who outsource it.

Got the protection plan for a mini fridge I bought. The fridge kept freezing everything even on the warmest setting so I took it into Best Buy and they gave me a new one and it was on sale even more so I got a $5 gift card as well! Great service!!

Given that even expensive appliances are basically disposable now, we have gotten into the habit of always buying the add-on service warranty and Best-Buy's has not disappointed. We've had calls within the first year of owning our new fridge and they were handled promptly - even in this usually difficult to service location. We appreciate knowing that when our appliance breaks down - and it will! - we don't immediately have to go out and buy a new one.

I stand behind Geek Sqaud. You hope to not need them, but if you do, you're very thankful you made the decision to pay for their protection.

Was having some issues with a Dell Laptop, running slower and slower no matter what updates I did, driver updates I installed. Went to Best Buy to see the Geek Squad. Decided to purchase a 2 year protection plan. Wasn't exceptionally expensive but in the long run extremely cost effective because it covers ALL the electronic devices in my home including desk top laptop tablets. Since the purchase of the plan I've had 5 other laptops in for various reasons including Windows 11 problems, hard drive problems. Had I not purchased the plan, with the money if would have cost me for each individual computer, I could have purchased a two-week cruise to Europe up the Danube for myself and my wife. Would encourage anyone to consider purchasing Protection if you have multiple electronic devices such as desktops, laptops, tablets, TV, anything electronic. With the plan any purchased installation, such as a SSD HD, if free, you just pay for the part. Well worth the investment.

Hope I don't have to use this, but it's nice knowing that if it's needed it is available. Having geek squad at your service is always a very nice thing. They are knowledgeable, friendly, always willing to help when needed.

I get these for every purchase over $100 due to I've had too many things fail on me prematurely after the manufacturer warrantee.

Bought the plan to cover issues if they happen. Hopfully fridge will work for a long time!

Got this for a mini fridge and was glad I did cuz I had to return it for not working properly. They exchanged it with a new one and extended the warranty to the new fridge as well.

Used this on a wine fridge I purchased in Dec 2021. Took it back Oct 2024 because the display went out. They took it back and replaced the unit with a new one. I purchased the protection again in case it goes out again in the next few years.

I love this ice maker better than first one i bought. I like that it has filter in the back and filter in the tray. So between the filter i have on my faucet and the filter in the water tray of ice machine. The ice taste super fresh.

I bought the 2 year warranty for my mini fridge and haven’t needed to use it yet so I can’t review the geek squads work theirselves but I’m happy I bought the warranty because I truly love my mini fridge

Worth having the protection, you never know when it's needed. Anything could happen, worth the investment.
