I purchase this Geek coverage on my first converter box. I brought it back to Best Buy because it stopped working and the Geek Squad overall the item and confirm that it was defective and order that I receive a new one as replacement. I was pleased with this protection; glad I had purchased it.

I have the peace of mind knowing that having Geek Squad coverage will be available when I need it.

as you know technology has the 50/50 chance of going bad. i've never had an issue of my stuff going bad as of yet (knock on wood) but I like the ease of mind knowing my product is secured for years to come. price is always a great deal with bestbuy, mid as well purchase it if you want to avoid the hassle of when unfortunately it does happen and you feel your money is now going down the drain.

I added Geek Squad Protection on my products, because you never know what could go wrong with products after the 90 day warranty that normally comes with electronics. So it just give me little extra protection and allows me to bring it back and get new item to replace it if it breaks under normal use.

Best of all is the best I love so much I veré happy

Better safe than sorry on some electronics. Don't trust everything will work past the warranty.

I never got to use this, as I returned the product I purchased it for, and I haven't had to use the Geek Squad Protection from other products from Best Buy yet, to this day, but it does add a piece of mind for certain pricey products.

I had a lot of things that bought from different places but I have never seen as good quality as the way these people work they are one of the most safe most quality experience Geek squad I’ll go into the store sometime and let people know before you get any merchandise out of the store you better get some warranty because I am so happy the way they treat me an excellent service They treat you like a family excellent service

I love Geek Squad’s guarantee and the team members that work for this unit are really knowledgeable. I happy recommend choosing the protection plans offered; sure it may cost a little more but if you can afford it, it’s worth it. I have been purchasing from Best Buy for years and I always chose to go with the Geek Squad Guarantee that if they can’t fix it they will replace it within reason.

One thing I’ve learned about Best Buy with the extended warranty if your planning to use the product and it’s pricy invest in this because I’ve had a printer go bad and other electronic stuff and they look at it tell you to go get another then they actually transferred the remaining warranty to the new one

I buy Geek Squad with anything that is an electronic - anytime I have had a problem - they are fast, efficient and worth it! Coverage is transferable too - handy! Spend the extra cash for this - especially for Computers / Tablets / TVs / Washers / Driers - Stuff that gets used A LOT... I have been using this service for years. EXCELLENT.

I recently cut the cable cord and wanted to invest in a streaming device. I have a FireTV but wanted something more future proof, with HDR. The Shield is a good device, you can tell there is a lot of power behind it. All apps have nice interfaces and the device is responsive and quick. The remote is similar to the FireTV and works well. The game controller feels nice too. Overall this is a nice device with some extra features like HDR and the ability to stream games. The reason I only gave this 4 starts is because there is no native resolution mode. Everything from the Shield is outputted in 4K. You can change the resolution to 1080p but then you can't watch 4K. The upscaler seems to need a bit of work and 1080p content upscaled to 4K looks a little blurry and colors are a little washed out. Not a total deal breaker, but a native resolution mode would be nice.
