John Cusack = action hero ???

While this movie has very good CGI the idea of JC as an action hero doesn't always work for me. So . . . think of him as a Dad who's trying to do the right thing and protect his family in extraordinary circumstances. And it is more plausible. Outside of that one issue, the movie is an interesting take on the end of the world and the few who will survive it. I enjoyed it.
