I was looking for something small and light, but with reasonable punch, to replace a practice amp that self-destructed. I wasn't crazy about the tone of the older Fender Rumble 15, and the new one wasn't much smaller than my Markbass Mini 121P, so that wasn't an option -- and while I loved the tone of the Acoustic B15, that had the same size issue. I just got the Eden, so can't say much about its long-term durability, but I can say that it has great sound for such a super-portable (11 lb.) package.

So far this little baby is just what we needed to get started with bass guitar lessons. The sound comes through loud and clear, and we only have to turn up the gain about half way. This amp is good for practice and home use, but no way loud enough for public performance. Don't really know if it is durable, because we've only used it a few times since the purchase.

No volume, just gain. What if you don't want distortion, just more volume. Plus, regular bass and treble controls would work better. Little eight inch speaker has no real bottom to it (and I play a Fender), but that was expected. Fine for the money.

Got this amp for my beginner. Nice little amp. Plenty of volume for him Not too much for me.
