I would recommend an extra one of these adapters for the convenience of travel and using in multiple locations. The quality is very good, if a bit expensive, but you get what you pay for.

It has standard plastic cord, not professional braided cable, so don't expect it to survive abuse. Length is reasonable to charge tablet sitting on desk, obviously you can't walk around house with it. You can connect it either way which is sometimes handy depending on how you orient tablet. It fully charge in about 2 hours.

Has small light to indicate and can be tricky to clip on Surface.

I previously had bought a knock-off & it was difficult to make the charging connection. And it didn't light up, so I didn't even know it wasn't making the connection! Plus the cord frayed! Be smart & stick with the original!

Forget buying the cheap knockoffs from China. Spend a little more for a well built OEM part. Hopefully, it won't break as easily as the last power adapter. That adapter's plastic casing started to fray where the cord connects to the Surface.

It's the same one you get with your Windows Surface tablet. There are many like it, but this one is mine, and it works as well as can be expected. Dutifully chargers the tablet, doesn't magically fix the glaring issues with Windows Surface 1 tablet though, boo.

I am using this for an original Surface Pro. It should be higher wattage to be perfect. Nevertheless, the lower voltage charges the battery quickly when the PC is not being actively used. Slower when using the PC and charging.

This product performed as required. I had no problem finding this item. Helpful staff not much more to say but had to put at least 50 characters. So I am just rambling on so I can get my rewards points. This is so silly and I have nothing else to say.

Although people can buy a cheap 3rd party charger for Surface from eBay, they usually cause some troubles like touch screen malfunction due to the unstable or inaccurate current output. Buying an OEM charger is a much safer choice.

I ordered this product online and picked it up in the store the same day. Very easy process and I was in and out of the store in under 5 minutes. The cord works perfectly (I've had it about 3 months now) and I've had no problems.

Sale associate brought the wrong product and had to return it, but the product works fine. It sometimes seems to overheat, but I think that's because it's not for the right surface tablet.

This AC adapter was a great replacement for my broken one. So far it has been working with no problems. Also, Best Buy did a great job of quickly shipping my purchase. Thank you Best Buy for your speedy service.

This charger works quickly with my surface tablet. I have no problems and the small light to let you know you have it plugged in correctly is great.

This is my third one. the other two the magnet was to strong and separated the connector. this one the magnet is not as strong and I don't thik will cause a separation.

Microsoft surface is a great product but the power cord was large and clumsy to carry. This adapter is smaller in size and makes it easier to carry when you need power supply with you.

This wire work just like the original. Easy to use, and stores very well. The prongs can fold in to adapter for easier portability. The connector magnetic so stays ok and detaches easy.

This power supply is a adequate replacement for the one my dog chewed up. Just wish it had the extra usb port like the one that the surface came with had.

This is a good replacement cord for the Surface that our puppy chewed up. I don't know what else to say about a power cord just had to use 50 characters

The travel charger is much easier to pack than the power supply that comes with the Surface. I have found that 24V does fine in keeping the Surface charged while I work.
